A 170 Sq M Modernized 2nd Floor Bright Apartment With High Stucco Ceilings

This large ( 1800 sq feet )apartment is in a neighborhood where you can shop for all things of daily life but is also close to the old West city center ( Kudamm ). The metro is 200 m away and you absolutely need NO car.

Wilmersdorf is one of the best areas to live in Berlin and the house where the apartment is is very well maintained

The apartment is bright and has high windows. It has a small balcony for 2 where you can have sun from 8 a.m to 1 p.m. for breakfast shielded by a big tree.

The bathroom is very large with a spacious walk in shower and 2 wash basins a toilet a bidet and a tub. It is also the place where a washer and dryer is housed in a tower arrangement.

The kitchen island is for 4 people and the adjacent table in the kitchen has space for another 4/5 people.

The kitchen island is granite also has a dishwasher and a ceramic cook top.

the Master bedroom is connected to the bathroom.

There is also a guest toilet for the second bedroom with king size beds in both bedrooms.

The living room can be partitioned and still is very large. One can move the additional sleep couch to this partitioned room to have an additional ( 3rd ) separate bedroom. 3 metro stations are close, One of the supermarkets is open from Monday 8 a.m to Saturday 11 p.m.

Great apartment in convenient neighbourhood

We stayed for a week in this huge apartment in a convenient and safe neighbourhood in Berlin. It is only a short walk to the U-Bahn, supermarkets and quite a few excellent restaurants. The apartment is clean and well-equipped, beds are comfortable and the lift was a great bonus for tired legs at the end a day of tourin around Berlin. We bought a weekly ABC ticket for transport (from a vending machine with an English button ... too easy) which covered out to Sachsenhausen and Potsdam. We had a great week in Berlin and recommend this apartment.

Great experience staying at this apartment

We (2 adults and 2 children (ages 11 and 10) stayed for a week, and it was absolutely wonderful! The location is ideal since it's close to two subway stations and several bus stops, and it is only two stops away from the subway station "Kurfürstendamm". The apartment, located in a quiet and upscale neighborhood, is very spacious, well equipped, and cozy. All in all, it was a great experience to stay at this apartment.

Great place (just a few slight reservations)

This was a fantastic apartment in a beautiful old West Berlin Kiez. Wonderful, tree-lined streets, but also lively and diverse. (We loved the walk up Fasanenstrasse to Bahnhof-Zoo, about 20 minutes; or to Savigny Platz.) Bio-Backhaus a few doors down, great fruit/veggie place on the corner, and my favorite little Italian eatery two blocks away (Güntzelstrasse and Uhlandstrasse). Wolfgang always responded quickly and Thomas was helpful with the keys and initial questions. The apartment is slightly oddly laid out (no place to store clothes in our bedroom), but roomy. We had different guests and invited friends over for dinner. Great kitchen (though why the tiny refrigerator without any freezer???). -- Some minor problems: The neighbor upstairs stomps around like a horse. If you're out most of the day and evening, no problem. But we worked in the apartment and it was annoying. I tried, very very politely to address him on it, and was rebuffed. I guess that's apartment living. -- There was work being done in the building, which was also annoying. Wolfgang wasn't responsible, of course, but he did give us a reduced rent, which was nice. -- So, overall, I'd recommend it as a beautiful apartment in a beautiful neighborhood. We'd return, even though there were a few negatives.

Beautiful Berlin apartment

This is a very large, comfortable apartment. The owner couldn't have been nicer. He was very available and accommodating. Everything worked well, the wi-fi, the coffee maker, the washer/dryer.

The apartment is in a beautiful, quiet neighborhood near Kudamm. There are two U-bahn stations nearby. The neighborhood itself has very nice cafes and restaurants and a farmer's market on Saturdays. We had an amazing Vietnamese meal at Ahn Ba down the street from the apartment toward the Berlinerstrasse U-bahn stop.

You are, however, in a real neighborhood not in the hub of things so that is something you have to want. We found it very relaxing.

Superb gracious apartment in Wilmersdorf!

The apartment is in a great location, close to transportation and shops, but still quiet. The rooms are large, with high ceilings, and many lovely architectural details. The beds and bedding are very comfortable. Everything works as it should in the kitchen and bathrooms, including washer and dryer. The very large walk in shower is great. The breakfast nook overlooks a lovely courtyard, and in fact, there are three places to eat meals in the apartment! The bakery a few doors down has very good bread and pastries. There is a large super market only a few blocks away, and some good restaurants in the neighborhood. The property manager and owner are easy to deal with and very thoughtful. This rental is super for a family, a couple, or friends. Thank you for the wonderful stay!
