The apartment is a spacious 65 sq metres / 700 sq foot two-bedroom apartment with one and a half bathrooms, a separate living room & separate kitchen on historic, pedestrian only, (but quiet) Floral Street in Covent Garden. The absolute center of London’s Theater Land. It is a lovely, comfortable apartment furnished in an inviting, traditional style. It has only recently been refurbished so fixtures, furniture and fittings are all of high quality and recently installed.

Master Bedroom has a Super King size bed. 2nd Bedroom has a standard double bed. Large Living room with dining area. Fully equipped large kitchen. This apartment is pretty much fully equipped and the location!

Ann is a londoner born and bred. After several years living in France she came to the conclusion that there was no point in living out of the center of London since when she 'came to town' she simply didn't have the time or the energy to spend time either in the car or on public transport.

Why Ann Hutcheson chose Covent Garden

Floral Street (as its name suggests) was the main street in the old Covent Garden flower market. It is about as central as you can get if you want to be in the London of theaters. museums, art galleries, music and restaurants. As well as its superb location the apt is in a well looked after building with an elevator. Floral Street is pedestrian/taxi only.

What makes this apartment unique

The benefits of being here are simply too numerous to list - suffice it to say that if your interests are in any way cultural or gastronomic you are where you need to be if you are visiting London! You are within a short walk of (amongst hundreds of other things) The Royal Opera, The British Museum,The National Gallery,Royal Festival Hall, National Theatre, Colosseum Theatre, Tin-Pan Alley, Westminster Abbey, Trafalgar Sqaure, House of Parliament, Big Ben, St Paul's Cathedral, Oxford Street with the famous Selfridges department store and all the other british shops and so much more.......

Very nice apartment in perfect location

The location is as good as it gets. Very easy to walk to most places and with 2 tube stations less than 5mn walk. The apartment itself is well appointed and the living area is spacious.

Would stay here again and hope to do so!

Fantastic location in Covent Garden. Steps from theater, shopping, nightlife, yet quiet.

We are a family of 5 and loved our stay in the middle of Covent Gardens, close to tube on small mostly pedestrian street. Noise at night was not an issue. There are two double/queen beds. One daughter slept on air mattress which she found comfirtable.

Clean, modern and wonderfully located

We had a wonderful time in this flat. Anne and her team are complete professionals and we felt so well taken care of. I love that someone met us at the flat upon our arrival and showed us around, explained how everything worked, etc. It's clean and inviting. Right in the heart of Covent Garden and 2 minute walk from Underground, but relatively quiet. Definitely safe. We celebrated Thanksgiving with our daughter and her friends and found the dining area a perfect venue. Kitchen, laundry, beds, all were excellent. We highly recommend this property and appreciate the excellent customer service we received. It made our visit to London such a joy!

great location and good amenities

this flat is well located for access to almost all London sights and is close to transport to activities that are further away. It was very convenient to have laundry facilities and towels and dishes provided. We didn't really cook because of all the great places to eat nearby but the kitchen had everything we needed.

Perfect! Perfect!

Ann was amazing to work with, great communication throughout our short visit to London. The flat was perfect for my husband and my teenage daughter, lots of space and the kitchen which of course was hardly used was, again perfect. Two bedrooms were ideal. The beds were extremely comfortable and linens. Bright and airy. It is in the most perfect location, easy to find and walk to everything. Couldn't have been happier choosing this flat. Thanks again Ann, I may be back to your place when we pick her back up from school. Cheers!!

Excellent Apartment - Perfect Location

This is a two bedroom apartment with one full bath (tub and shower), one partial bath (no tub or shower), full kitchen, and a large living/dining area with a dining table that could seat at least 8 people. The master bedroom has a large bed, king size (as it would be called in the U.S.) and the second bedroom's bed was closer to queen size (as it would be called in the U.S.). The apartment was extremely clean and comfortable and the owner was very responsive to everything, including prompt responses to our inquiries. She even arranged for flowers to be in the room when we arrived. The location cannot be beat and you feel very secure in the building. You are a few hundred feet from the underground stop at Covent and the Piazza is around the corner, yet the apartment is quiet. We highly recommend this for a stay in central London.

The flat is located on the third (USA fourth) floor of a 1985 brick building of high quality and attractive design.

Location is outstanding in the very center of London's Theater district.

Many of London's treasures are within a short walk viz:

1 block to the spectacular new Royal Opera House (do take the backstage tour) The Royal Ballet School is on the same street as the flat.

7 minutes to the British Museum (see the newly restored Reading Room)

2-10 minutes to most West End Theaters, 10 minutes to the magnificent National Gallery, National Portrait Gallery (newly expanded) in Trafalgar Square, Leicester Square, the Courtauld Gallery (impressionist Art); 15 minutes across Waterloo Bridge past views of The Eye (Ferris wheel) to the South Bank Center with the National Theater (3 stages), Royal Festival Hall (3 venues), Old Vic and Young Vic. 20 minutes to Westminster Abbey, Buckingham Palace, st Pauls, Fleet Street and the Tate Modern art gallery. And the "original" Tate art gallery.

Floral Street, itself, is no longer the epicenter of the London flower market. Instead it has been turned into a pedestrian-only (except for your taxi) oasis of laid-back, ultra-cool fashion and hip. The apartment is just meters away from the central piazza of Covent Garden and its Opera, Ballet, buskers and designers. Floral street itself also harbours the men's and women's Paul Smith.

Being at the center of the center of ‘Theatrical London’ means of course that transport links are superb and the range of shopping & number of restaurants, cafes, bars and pubs is mind-boggling.

There are 5 underground stations, all lines are within 5-15 minutes walk, many bus routes & of course the famous Black Cab taxis.

The Covent Garden (Piccadilly to Heathrow airport) & Leicester Square Underground ('tube') also has Piccadilly & Northern lines) are both around the corner (half a block away) It is 10 minutes to Holborn (Piccadily & Central lines). 10 Mins to Embankment and Charing Cross (Bakerloo , Northern, Central, Circle & District lines) Also around the same area is Charing Cross Station with trains to many parts of Great Britain.

The select few people who are able to afford private accommodation in Floral Street include world-famous conductors, musicians, dancers & impresarios people for whom the location and the “buzz” are vital. We hope you too will feel just that bit ‘special’ in this very special location.
