Why Rich Soper chose Grayton Beach

Historic Grayton beach home, built in 1934. Grayton Beach was founded in 1890.

Was a hide-out for Bonnie & Clyde in their day. Nearly all of the original beach homes are still standing and in good shape, most are one or two story. A few newer homes on water front are up to four stories. The ambience of a traditional historic REEL Florida beach community is still present. Park and walk to nearly any where you or family/friends wanna go.

Grayton Beach (Always on World Top 10 list) is a very unique place. Many say -"a lil slice of heaven". A historic(1890) very small beach community, you are able to walk to everything, once you arrive, park and stroll. Our beach is breath taking yet, significantly less crowded than other's- None compare at sunset or daytime. You will be and feel beach calm. Multiple venues-good food, live music, coffee, U can walk to. Grayton is a must do-sugar sand and friendly people.

Great spot for a couple...within an easy walk to the beach. Grayton Beach is our highrises, and the park land keeps the crowd down. Spotless with everything you need.

Quiet, but close to all the fun!

We stayed for our honeymoon and absolutely loved it. The bungalow was clean, roomy, and very close to the beach and The Red Bar. We would stay again and again.

Cute as a Button is cute as a button

  • 4 of 5

Cute as a button was just as described. Love how it's decorated. Rich was amazing and the Property Manager, Dee is now family!!!

We visit 30A several times a year and this was the first location that we've stayed at where you couldn't see the ocean. That's the only reason we won't be back. The beach is only a block away but we're spoiled!!! Thanks Rich.

This was our first time staying in Grayton Beach and we absolutely loved it! We couldn't believe how close everything was and the beach was less crowded than the other places we have stayed. The bungalow had everything we needed. We are already planning on coming back next year!

Very clean and comfortable. Just a short walk from a great beach. Secluded and quiet.

  • 4 of 5

This place was very relaxing and perfect size for two people. Just a short walk from a fairly quiet beach which was what we were looking for. It felt very clean which made it comfortable and easy to relax in. Enjoyed eating at the Red Bar and AJ's nearby and was not a long trek into Sandestin or Destin.
