Escapes! To The Shores, Unit 904 is located on the 9th floor and is a gulf-front facing, very spacious, luxurious, 2 Bedroom 2 Bath (approximately 1700 square foot) condo that comfortably sleeps 6. This open floor plan means guests won’t be tripping over each other, yet will still maintain a maximum of privacy! Each bedroom has a king bed and both bathrooms have large jetted tubs, large showers, and more than adequate storage. Each bedroom has a TV and large closet. The master shower has double shower heads with side sprayers. This unit also has a Murphy Bed with a true queen size mattress. Linens are provided. There is an in-unit washer and dryer. All counter-tops are granite and the fully furnished kitchen contains full-sized appliances including a Keurig stocked with approximately 10 different flavors of coffee and tea. The living area offers Wi-Fi and a Playstation 3 with a small assortment of games. The condo is full of authentic high-end nautical and historical artifacts to provide a unique décor that sets this condo apart from all others. The large balcony offers stunning views of the white sandy beaches and the beautiful blue water! Included in the rental is a complimentary (free) beach lounger (2 chairs and 1 umbrella) that is set-aside for guests of unit 904!! The Lounger will have our unit number on the back and will be available for your free use from Mid-March to Mid-October. I also added a beautifully restored and fully functioning 1957 Vendo 81B Coke Machine that is set-up to deliver a cold drink for only a single dime! No other condo, anywhere, offers these amenities! Enjoy!!

This complex offers many amenities such as a large gulf facing workout facility, steam room, sauna, hot tub, large heated indoor pool, Infinity edge outdoor pool overlooking ocean, outdoor fireplace, outdoor Viking grills, and a large gazebo area. Also included are covered parking, on-site security, and on-site check-in. Escapes! To The Shores is located just East of the Red-Roofed Phoenix East Condo.

AGAIN THIS YEAR (2018)! For those of you who are staying mid-March through Mid-October, a free Suncoast Beach Service concierge beach chair service is provided. Just walk straight down the ramp to the beach and look for Unit 904 on the back of a set of chairs. An umbrella is provided as well with the chairs.

Come to Orange Beach and enjoy a water-oriented community situated on both the gulf and backwaters of the bays and river! It is a great home base for enjoying amusements, musical entertainment, water sports, deep-sea and inshore fishing, shopping, dining, dolphin cruises, nature hikes and more. Escapes to the Shores! is close to the Gulf State Park which offers beautiful hiking and biking trails. Enjoy outlet shopping at the famous Tanger Outlets.

We chose this property because of its spacious floor plan and great amenities! It's all about the little things: covered parking, on-site check-in, indoor room access, heated indoor pool and hot tub for rainy days, exercise room twice as large as most other places, manned front desk, and a gorgeous beach! 1 1/2 times more square footage than many other 2 bedroom condos allows you to spread out. Plus, the jacuzzi tubs in both bathrooms help you to unwind. Restaurants and shopping close by.

What makes this condo unique

We also offer a fully-stocked(!) Keurig *plus* free access to a beach chair set and umbrella (March - October). Last, there is a functioning and stocked 1957 Vendo 81B Coke Machine inside the unit that is set-up to deliver a drink for a single dime. How many other condos offer these additional amenities??

Wonderful Week at the Jones' Condo -well worth it !!

WHEN: Week before Christmas 2017

UNEXPECTED

Don't expect to leave windows open at night to listen to waves; there are no screens and the windows don't open. Not a huge deal -just didn't know.

NOT PERFECT *** none of this is under Jones' control.

1- Weather: Mixed bag. It was, after all, in late December. Overall OK.

2- Some local attractions are closed -again, its December. We knew that.

3 - Outdoor pool area was under construction. We knew that going in: Since it was Dec and weather as noted above, who cared? Noise was not an issue. Indoor pool area was great (A+++)

SLIGHT SUGGESTION FOR JONES

The pull chains to control the ceiling fans are way to short -you'd have to be 6 ft 6 in tall to reach them: I suggest adding some extenders on those chains.

NOW, THE PERFECT STUFF

1= Only had one question for Jones -left message on Vicki's phone; she had Gordon call me back in less than 10 min. Wonderful gentleman; resolved my minor question immediately but also engaged in a terrific conversation for a few minutes more -it was a joy to speak to him.

2 = Beautiful view | proximity to the Gulf. Nice balcony.

3 = Condo itself is bar-none the best accommodations that I've every rented for any reason. Period. Beautiful, relaxing decor, and LARGE !

4 = Stocked above-and-beyond with all you will need. Kitchen was great; both standard coffee maker + Keurig (w/ pods!) was super.

5 = PS3 with games [esp. NCAA football]; books; family games; DVD movies.

6 = Blu Ray player was a plus (not evident on website)

7 = Stocked vintage coke machine (for 10 cent drinks !! )

8 = In a similar-but-vastly-overstated sense, walking thru the condo reminded me of the Smithsonian Institution (sorry, ladies, no dresses or jewels) ,,, the rocks, artifacts, and other associated memorabilia were just terrific.

9 = Both bedrooms had nice beds, furniture, etc: And both had attached baths with separate showers and Jacuzzi tubs.

Perfect except for one thing that the owner "fixed" in pricing .

The most beautiful place we have stayed and had EVERYTHING you could ask for.. and more in the storage closet if needed. The only bad thing was actually pretty big to us because we focus on using the pool and just walk the beaches. The pool was under construction and so we had to walk through work areas which was kinda hard in bare feet. This was NO FAULT of the owner. He had been told it would be finished but they were still working on the building. PLUS the owner gave us a partial refund to come on knowing we couldn't use the pool...., so these broken promises of the construction crew have cost him considerably. VERY nice owners, plus the beauty of the condo, plus the magnificence of the gulf rate it a 5 !!! Would go back in a heartbeat!!!

Owner's Response: Phyllis: Thanks for the comments! It's been a difficult year since both exterior pools and the balconies were not usable for the better part of a year. What started out as a 60-day fix turned into 5 months, then 7 months, then 9 months, then 10. The balcony railings were finally installed at 10 months, but the pools are still down until 1 March 2018 - making for a 14-month repair. I want to thank everyone for hanging in there with us because refunding a portion of the cost can only go so far.

The condo was very inviting and well stocked. We had everything we needed to feel like home.

The condo was very spacious and all the beds including the reclining couch were very comfy. The condo had everything we needed and then some! The view was beautiful and we were able to watch dolphins from our balcony. We will definitely be coming back to this condo for our next family vacation to Orange Beach!

Everything about unit 904 is perfect. The extra beach chairs also came in handy. Vicki's husband even called to make sure everything was ok with the room and if we had problems to just let them know. Thanks again for sharing your condo with us.
