Fourth year in a row, feels like home already.thank you Brad again.
Totally enjoyed our stay in Weston. Hubbed out of this location for 3 nights just doing day trips of the surrounding area to enjoy the fall foliage. Enjoyed relaxing at Evergreen. Well stocked and met our needs. There were only 2 of us--but this is a great place for a larger family or group looking for a nice place just to get away. Was even better when I realized about 3 hours after leaving home that I had forgotten both my personal and work phones--was ok--anyone really needing us had to contact us on my husband's phone. Another great benefit was the ability to use the washer and dryer--this allowed us to pack lighter as we could wash our clothes mid trip. Not sure we'll ever make it back to the New England area again as there are so many places I'd like to travel to--but if we did--I would certainly check to see if this location was available. Thanks for listing your property.
A quiet, individual and beautiful place to stay
Very relaxing place to stay. The house is in the countryside about 3 miles from the little village of Weston. We loved the open fire; with all the logs, kindling etc provided. There was also a log burner we didn't use this, but electric radiators kept our bedroom and the bathroom cosy. Cooking facilities are very good, with large cooker, fridge freezer and everything one could need. Also, in the cellar was a washing machine and tumble drier. However, the most impressive part of this home for us was the garden. There was a large pond, visible from the living room surrounded by beautiful trees. The grounds were extensive with grass and woodland that had mown paths which you could wander along and eventually discover a pretty stream that forms a boundary to the home. There were places to sit in the garden and watch the sun go down. Be prepared to wash your own linen and towels before leaving and leave the house in the condition that you found it. This is a small price to play in return for all that is provided.
Restful retreat in nature, something for the whole family
Our time at Evergreen was a pleasure. The land and trails surrounding the home are wonderful. From the kitchen window you can view both a wild flower meadow and the mountains in the distance. As you explore the property the trails lead to a lovely river. The home is far enough from town to feel like a retreat, but close enough that there is a selection of markets and activities within a 15 minute drive. Many day trips are possible from Weston to explore the wonders of Vermont. We loved our time in this special place.
Great place to relax
This was a perfect place to unwind with kids and pets - plenty of space to explore outside around the grounds and comfortable inside.
We had a brief but relaxing stay at this property. Descriptions are accurate. It was spacious, clean and offered everything we might have needed. I didn't have the chance to explore the vast property or surroundings, but hope to return. Brad was very nice. He welcomed me and the dogs when we arrived, gave a brief tour, answered any questions, and let me know he was available if I needed anything. I would recommend this place and hope to return for another tranquil getaway.
