About Jeri Slachta

My husband and I bought the property in 1980 when our two children were small. A fire destroyed the entire cabin in 1994. We rebuilt in 1995 and added a sauna and air conditioning .In 2004 we added a solarium onto our existing deck. Total sq. footage is 2,300. We enjoy having grandchildren visit when we are not renting. We also have an outside shower, which comes in handy when coming up from lake.

Jeri Slachta purchased this cabin in 1980

Why Jeri Slachta chose Northwest

We comply with the rules of the State of WI and the County of Burnett and are permitted by both. This is the perfect location for a family get away. Close to the Twin Cities, yet far enough away to soak in the peacefulness. The lake is very clean and perfect for swimming and recreational activities.

It's a cozy place to hang out, scrapbook, quilt, paint, etc.

nordic ski, snowmobiling, ice fishing, brisk walks are but a few of the amenities.

What makes this cabin unique

Crystal clear lake, great for swimming, fishing, jet skiing, paddle boarding, and water skiing. Very seldom busy except for the three holidays.

Summer family vacation.

  • 5 of 5

The Slachta cabin was the perfect place for our family this year. Jeri & Dick were so welcoming and accommodating. The lake is perfect for teenagers, a 10 month old, our adult children and these grandparents(us). My daughters and son in law loved the fishing...catching a good size Northern which the family enjoyed Friday night. The trampoline and rented pontoon brought fun on the water everyday. Thank you for sharing your beautiful cabin!

Great lake front property

  • 5 of 5

This property was great for our summer vacation. There was plenty of room for everyone in the three bedrooms. We made good use of the solarium and the bar area. The fishing was decent and the kids enjoyed swimming in the lake, especially the jumping dock. The sauna was enjoyed by everyone as well.

It's a short drive to Danbury and Webster so we were able to do our grocery shopping.

This was a great property for our group and we hope to be able to stay again.

Great summer vacation!

  • 4 of 5

Our family, 6 adults and 4 children, enjoyed a great summer vacation here! The cabin accommodated all of us and has an amazing lake view. The kids enjoyed swimming and feeding the fish right off the dock. Lake toys were a nice surprise and the kids loved the water trampoline. Nice big driveway allowed the kids to ride their bikes. We enjoyed a family croquet game during the day and card games in the evening in the big sunroom. We rented a pontoon and enjoyed many cruises on the lake. We made great memories here, thanks!

Very relaxing trip!

  • 4 of 5

We were two families with a total of 3 children. A well equipped kitchen which included a pizza oven, a rice cooker and a freezer with an ice maker! Lake was quiet most of the week, activity picks up on Fridays. Hot tub was great to have when we wanted to warm up after the lake! Beach and swim raft were awesome. Definitely bring children's life jackets if you need them, the ones they provided were mostly adult sized. No wood fire pit available. Although they do have a propane fire bowl for an extra charge. House needs more bedding for the bunk beds. Internet would have been nice to have. Sunroom with dining room table was a nice place to gather. We had a great time!

Great place For Summer and Winter

  • 5 of 5

I've been to various places/cabins over the years and I've used the cabin twice this past year. Once in the summer and once in the winter. It has enough room for 2 families with kids and has good space in the front for outdoor activities. The lake is great for skiing or just a casual pontoon ride. It's also close to restaurants for a night out! It's close to the Gandy Dancer snowmobile trails so it's a good place for the weekend snowmobile getaway.

Great cabin on a beautiful lake

  • 5 of 5

We have been to the Webster area many times and this is our favorite cabin. It has terrific views of the lake, very clean and well maintained, and nice sandy beach. The lake was calm and we caught lots of fish (including some from the dock). We had a week of great memories.
