Cedar Chalet with Hot Tub on Devils Lake, Webster, WI

VRBO ID# 449087 - Cedar Chalet on one of area's most desirable lakes. Lakeside great room, 4-season sun room & a large deck w/spectacular views of 1000 acre Devils lake. Clear water, on dead end road for added privacy.

We offer the use of kayaks, and paddle boards.

Our home is equipped with everything you need including: free wifi, High Def TVs, and video library.

Kitchen has everything you need, even a keurig coffee maker for that special morning eye opener, regular coffee makers, microwave, dishes, grills, and various small appliances. Washer and dryer available.

Wood fireplace in the Great room and an outdoor fire-pit. The family room has a secondary entertainment area with a 50' TV and electric fireplace, a bumper pool table an area to play some poker, additional sleeping (twin beds).

Home Details: 3 bedroom, 3 baths. Large master bedroom, with King size iron bed, 2 queen beds on the main level bedrooms. The master bathroom has a jetted tub to rest the day away. Additional sleeping is available in the lower level (twin beds)

Large wooden Deck, a concrete patio with a food prep area and a gas grill and a charcoal grill. A hot tub on the main deck for year around use.

This home rents all year. On the snowmobile trails and within minutes from the Danbury Casino, Bumps bar (walking distance) and Fox run Golf Course. There are also 4-wheeling trails minutes away. Our lake has a public access with a very nice public beach. The lake is at its highest level in years and our beach has a rocky turning to sand frontage, is now underwater, so water shoes are recommended (because of the rocks). However, our water is crystal clear. We have a brand new dock system for 2017 that has a deck for additional seating, chairs, and a ladder. We do have elevation to our shoreline (about 45 steps - depending on the water level).

We are only allowed to have our guests park in the driveways (we have 2) with a max of 4 cars, and there is room for a trailer (for your toys). We also have a security system that can be turned on/off remotely. We also have monitoring on the outside of the cabin (the ring system), by our entrances and facing the front/street, we turn off notifications/alerts when guests are present.

Please note: cabin rental is based on the number of people staying at the cabin. No events (such as family reunions, or large parties) can be hosted here without the consent of the owners in advance. Additional charges and rules may apply to such requests.

Per our WI license request: when making an inquire/booking please include the following information: Names/Ages of all people staying at the cabin. The person making the request's address. If you're bringing a pet(s)(note extra charge for pets).

This lake house is beautiful and HUGE! Great dock, great shore, great hot tub, great location. Well kept house and grounds. My only complaint is there is no trash service. The owners offer some options for longer stays and your trash but thankfully we had a pickup with us to haul it home. I’ve stayed here in summer and winter. This place is great in all seasons! Will be back!

Beautiful house, Great Lake

Rented this house for 2 weeks in July 2015. What I loved about it was the size of the house, and the layout. Plenty of room with 3 bedrooms, one of which is an upstairs master suite with jetted tub and seperate shower, as well as two first floor bedrooms and the basement includes a living room and 3 single beds and a fold out futon for sleeping. The basement also has an air hockey table and a bumper pool game. We loved the clarity of the lake. Water was crystal clear. The outside deck was fantastic! Gated at both ends makes it perfect to corral little ones that you want to keep an eye on and we ate almost every meal out there for 2 weeks. Its located on a residential strip along the shoreline. Very quiet dead end street. One neighbor seems to be there full time but we rarley saw them. Internet access was great. LOVED the hot tub right on the deck. Great firepit area too. They provide firewood for you. There are loons and eagles all over the lake. What you should know....... There are over 60 steps from the pier to the house. Could be tough for some people. The shoreline is all rock. No sand. You need sandals or footwear of some kind to walk on them off the shoreline. We used the pontoon to go to the beach on the other side of the lake to play in the sand. During the week you can pretty much have it to yourself. Appliances need updating. The Fridge had no working ice maker and the microwave display was out. There is no cable TV. The TV on the basement level has an antannae hook up but the main floor living room has only a DVD/VCR attached to it. All thing considered a great stay. I'd stay here again

Gorgeous lake views, adequate sleeping accommodations, nicely appointed, well stocked kitchen, nice variety of indoor and outdoor games. Lots of indoor space for quiet and family time. The lake is gorgeous and even yielded a fish fry.

June getaway

This property has a ton of bonuses, 3 bedrooms and a comfortable sleeping bunkhouse style room in the downstairs for kids, this is a great place for hosting a large extended family in this truly relaxing and enjoyable lakeside with great fishing right off the dock.

The property is everything you could want. The lake views are insane and visible from everywhere, including the master bedroom! The closed in porch was perfect for the dogs to roam and the hot tub is a prime happy hour and sunset vantage point. A Winter Wonderland

I stayed at Tracy & David's lakehouse on Devil's Lake during a solo vacation in January 2022 and loved my trip. The views from the deck, hot tub, and inside the cabin over the snow-covered frozen lake were stunningly beautiful, especially on sunny winter days. Don't miss watching the sun rise from the hot tub and walking out over the lake to get some pictures of nature's beauty. It's also very quiet and peaceful in the hot tub and on the deck at night. The lakehouse is warm, comfortable , fully-furnished and well-stocked with all the essentials you'll need and more. I was alone on this trip, but the house could easily accommodate a family or larger group of people. The kitchen has everything you'll need to prepare meals and there's also a charcoal grill and propane grill for cooking out. The house isn't too far from the Towns of Siren, Hayward, & Spooner and the drive going to these places on country roads in NW Wisconsin seeing lakes, farms, and forests was beautiful and enjoyable, especially since I was lock enough to get a few inches of snow during my stay. There are plenty of outdoor activities like downhill skiing, cross country skiing, and snowshoeing in the area. It's a very easy drive from MSP airport to the lakehouse and thanks to Tracy & David for renting the lakehouse to me for an amazing vacation. Hope to be back in the future for more winter fun!

We love our retreat on Devils. We come for the quiet and the beauty. I enjoy spending my morning looking for the eagles to fly over. This is a family home where us and our kids can all come together and visit without the hustle and bustle of the world around us, but still within minutes of what we need.

Why they chose this property

David and I loved to camp in this area. We enjoyed the opportunity to 4-wheel on the great trails. Devils Lake had been a lake we both loved [even before we knew each other.] and so when we started toying with the idea of buying a second home, Devil's was where we wanted to be. We were so lucky to find this home. Our home is on a dead end street, so the neighborhood is very quiet. It's a great swimming and fishing lake. We love the location, we feel like we are in the middle of nowhere but in reality we are only minutes away from town and everything we may need.
