2 Bedroom, Ocean Front Retreat in prime location

My husband and I have always dreamed of being on the water and this is our dream come true. He is originally from NC and I am a Jersey girl through and through. We were both In the Marine Corps (and met while on duty in Hawaii) and love nothing more than spending our down time by the shore. We have a young son and are so excited to build sand castle memories for the years to come. My husband is a retired fire fighter who recently launched a new career and I have been in sales for almost my entire adult life. We are outdoor enthusiasts and love finding great excursions throughout the US but there is nothing quite like home.

We chose this house because the location is perfect! As soon as you walk in the front door, you will be aw-inspired my the magnificent ocean in front of you. You are literally steps to the beach, next to the city center, the best bars in town and 3 blocks from the playground. There is no need for a car although there are 2 dedicated parking spaces. Although the ocean and promenade are enough of a draw, we took great care to make the interior quite special. We completely renovated the bath and kitchen and built a custom breakfast nook so a large family can fit around the table to play cards and share meals. We know how precious vacation time is so we wanted to provide a little luxury while making comfort the top priority. We think we've accomplished that with big comfy couches to lounge on in the family room and sleek granite counter tops in the kitchen for an upscale feel. We love our little retreat by the sea and really hope that you do too.

We fell in love with this place because of the spectacular ocean views. Whether it's mid Summer and the beach is loaded with people or it is the dead of Winter and the sand is snow covered - there is nothing quite like the sound of the waves crashing beneath you. And, we love to get out and try new restaurants, grab an ice cream cone during the day or jump off the sand to the best happy hour hot spot. You can do all that within steps from our condo. The location puts you in the center of it all. But, since this is the busiest part of town, it was key to for us to have the 2 free parking spaces. Once we bought the condo, we were so excited to freshen it up inside. With new paint and wood floors we were well on our way. We then completely renovated the kitchen with new appliances, granite counters and a custom eating area big enough to get 9 people around the table. The fridge is large enough to fit a full pizza box (because who wants to cook on vacation?) and it has an ice maker to make your salty margaritas nice and cold! We know that some of our guests will need to do a little work while on vacation so we added free WiFi. And, on rainy days you can either watch the ocean roar or play the Wii on the 50 inch flat screen TV. Our condo is very family friendly with a pack n play, booster seat/high chair and a basket of toys and games, it will make traveling with the family a little less cumbersome.
