Villa Senaia - Enjoy your stay

In the splendid Tuscany, along the infinite artistic and landscape heritage, where stretches of silver olive trees are wrapped up after vineyards and cypresses, Villa Senaia rises.
An old stone farmhouse, located in a strategic position where it is easy to discover many of the hidden and characteristic secrets of Tuscany and Umbria. The local atmosphere will leave you with unforgettable moments of tranquility and relaxation, enjoying unique colors, smells and sunsets.

Various Tuscan flowers and colors hang on the walls, bringing nature to nature. The living room is simple and simple, starting from the stone walls where the fireplace stands. Here you can take a relaxing break while watching satellite TV (with LCD, stereo, VCR). The kitchen is fine with the exterior covered porch, with dining facilities outside the pool overlooking the valley.
On the ground floor there is also a bedroom and a bathroom with shower. An outside staircase leads to the balcony, two double bedrooms with shared bathroom and a bedroom with private bath and access to the loggia.

The villa offers a private garden surrounded by olive trees and Mediterranean plants. It has an outdoor grill / barbecue to enjoy local dishes, a laundry room and a private car park. The pool offers peace and quiet in an attractive place. (6 x 12 meters - about 20 x 40 feet) with hydromassage and cervical waterfall
 
The whole structure is well designed for the needs of guests on vacation. Owners, who live nearby, welcome guests on arrival with a small buffet lunch that is always a great hit. If you want more privacy, the owners will not interfere with the stay of the guests. In any case, for any need and help, staff will be available on site every day.

The nearest town with many restaurants and shops is only 3 km away and the cities of art and culture such as Cortona, Arezzo, Montepulciano, Siena, Florence ... can be reached in less than an hour. The Villa Senaia farm is recommended All those who seek peace and quiet, but also those who want to explore Tuscany.
The family atmosphere and the owners' willingness will help guests express their opinions and ask for special advice for those who do not know the area. Guests can ask for free information: from where is the closest restaurant, local post office to hiking trails etc.

Great location, comfortable home, warm hospitality!

Our party of 7 stayed at Villa Senaia for 5 nights in late April. It was the perfect location for day tripping around Tuscany. The home was big enough for all of us, and the views from the patio and pool of Castiglion Fiorentino were marvelous! Giuseppe was a wonderful host, available to help when needed. We did take advantage of the outdoor pizza oven and Giuseppe was ready to assist when our first pizza didn't turn out quite right. The convenience of having a washer onsite was also very nice. We hope to return some day!

Lovely, welcoming, authentic villa.

Villa Senaia is all it is shown to be in the listing description and more! The views from the property are outstanding and a wonderful way to start each day. The entire atmosphere was so authentic and Giuseppe was so friendly and helpful with information on sites to see, places to eat, (Muzicone was awesome) on food to try, wine, history of the region, any question we had. His lovely wife Laura, took the time to bake us a delicious torte for breakfast one day and she made limoncello for our final night. Very much appreciated as Laura was so busy with a brand new baby and their daughter Margaritta as well. Would highly recommend the chef night as well. Giuseppe and Chef Anna cooked us an authentic Tuscan four course meal, all done in our villa so we could see and participate. We enjoyed the pool, not heated so only when feeling brave, however the sun was very hot so it proved refreshing once in. Only suggestion might be a few pool amenities, noodles etc. and pool towels should be included ( were available but at a charge). Overall, would absolutely recommend and hopefully we'll return.

Wonderful stay at Villa Senaia

We had a wonderful week’s stay at Villa Senaia. Giuseppe was such a gracious host. The dinner prepared for us was the best meal we had while in Italy - prepared with love! Giuseppe reserved an excellent wine tasting tour for us. Beautiful views, comfy beds, plenty of space to relax and enjoy each other’s company with 6 of us staying in the house. Looking forward to our next visit to Villa Senaia in the near future!

A great place to stay

There were 5 of us staying here and everything was as we had wanted it. Giuseppe was very welcoming and kept a perfect balance between being available without being intrusive. We had a wonderful stay here and my only regret was only booking 1 week instead of longer. One note of caution though. Out sat nav got very confused when we put the address in and took us on an interesting detour. I recommend using google maps to find the villa.

Wonderful stay!

We had a fabulous time at Villa Senaia and Giuseppe and Laura could not have been more accommodating. Everything was perfect at the villa and the pool and gardens were delightful! There were lots of wonderful places to visit from Cortona which was approximately 20 mins away to Siena which was about an hour and twenty mins away, with many others in between! We spent 2 weeks alternating between the villa and touring around and the balance was just right. We did take advantage of the Chef service one evening for a wedding anniversary celebration and Anna and Giuseppe did an excellent job. The food was delicious and the setting was just perfect! All in all we would have no hesitation in recommending this property and hope to return one day in the not to distant future. Geoff and Sue A.
