Our building overlooks the shops in the Ruskin Place district of Seaside, and during the day, you can sit and watch folks walking by, shopping and enjoying Seaside’s unique stores.

When you enter the Picasso Moon, you will find a very industrial style building which was fashioned after the SoHo district in New York City. If you are looking for elegance or a fancy Watercolor style type home, this is not what you will find: instead, you will find a loft style building with an artistic flair concrete walls, concrete floors and a unique style of fun.

We have a large and great rooftop where you can see Seaside from 360 degrees. The Gulf, The park, The houses to the East, and to the West

……….. you can experience sunrise and sunset.

Once you have arrived in Seaside, you truly DO NOT have to get in your car again unless you want to leave our lovely town.....

WE are NOT pet friendly please don't ask, the answer will always be no....there are so many people with allergies that we do not allow those guests to be uncomfortable. Smoking is also NOT allowed, unless you smoke on the roof

You walk out the front door to shops and resturants and right now, I am hearing the Chapel chime at noon. You hear the bells and the noises of this fabulous community, almost like you are living and enjoying a small European city by the sea.

Perfect location

This unit is not fancy. Instead it is a very industrial unit that has all the things that make it a perfect vacation getaway. The front porch was super, with the handing bed. And you walk out the front or back door to all that is happening in Seaside. WE will stay here again...

Great location, but not the cleanest. I put the basket of silverware on the counter and it left so much dust, I had to dust the whole kitchen to feel clean. It needs updating.

Owner's Response: Danielle... I am glad that you enjoyed our location... which allows you to walk out the door and be within seconds at the restaurants, shops and ice cream store.... Hmmm... I think that the silverware is in a rattan basket which does "shed" when you put the silverware in it..........but that is not dirty. And this unit is a New York Soho type industrial building....it is not a fancy smancy Watercolor or Rosemary Beach style property.... I do make that clear in my description. My unit has concrete floors... concrete ceilings and industrial type finishes...this is how it is designed....

Enjoyed location and unit

We have 3 small children and this place was perfect. The covered front porch was wonderful for the kids. They could enjoy the sights and sounds of Seaside, without me worrying about their safety. We will be back. Oh.... the owners live above this unit, and were extremely helpful and nice.

Wonderful !!!!!

What a great place to stay! Very spacious and comfortable. We parked our car and never moved it. Because we were close to everything, we could walk everywhere.

Seaside Super - Charm, Location and More!

Two bedrooms, well equipped with furnishings, charm and location. Professional owners are located upstairs and are ready to assist with a restaurant recommendation or a pleasant chat in the hallway. The unit is efficiently central to all Seaside – above shops, around the corner from a market, two blocks to the beach and with a view to the ocean. But don’t forget the rooftop. Large with unobstructed 360 degree views, patio furniture, chase lounges and potted palms. Enjoy a glass of wine as the sun sets over Seaside or welcome the sunrise with your coffee and a freshly baked muffin from the Modica Market.

Perfect for a couple with or without a toddler as there is a second bedroom with bunks. One floor up from the street with a furnished outside porch and a swinging bed deigned for a restful afternoon slumber. Our five day / four night stay at our Seaside pied-a-terre provided the perfect home base for the local community and those beyond. There is no dedicated parking for this unit (only the owner’s spots) so parking was on the street only – a element that needs to be considered depending on what time of the day you are returning.

I do understand about our parking, because Seaside has become such a daytime destination for those who have discovered it's charm and energy. The fact that we are a small town, with shopping,, restaurants, coffee shops, and market all within walking distance gives our guests the option of driving here, parking and not getting in your vehicle again till you leave our little community. We hope that the fact that we do not have (at the present) dedicated parking will not deter you from allowing you and your family the beautiful experience of coming to Seaside, and The Picasso Moon and Sun, because there is a large parking lot behind our building, along with several other parking areas less than a block away.

Great Location and Patio

We had family in town for Christmas and decided to head to the beach for a couple days. Although the weather was terrrrrible (it rained the entire time), the Picasso Moon was our saving grace. The covered patio overlooking the shops was just perfect for staying in. We were also so close to the shops and restaurants that we were still able to explore Seaside without getting too soaked. Hoping to come back this Summer for our babymoon : )
