Thanks for considering a Vacasa home! We provide full-service management for privately owned vacation homes, and like to think that we offer our guests the best of both worlds: the unique experience of staying in a one-of-a-kind vacation home, with the peace of mind that comes from knowing that the home you book for your special vacation is cared for by professional housekeepers and property managers.
Vacasa began in 2009, simply because our founder and CEO Eric wanted to find a better way to share his wife’s family’s summer home in Long Beach, Washington with guests as a vacation rental. Eric and his early team worked to build Vacasa on the premise that local employees can do what they love most (taking care of guests, homeowners, and properties), while the hands-off tasks of vacation rental management—things like marketing, filing taxes, and maintaining a website—could be handled by a specialized central support team.
Our passion is connecting travelers with the unique experience of staying in a vacation home, and we would be honored to be your host. Please contact us with any questions about this home—our team is standing by!
Our room was incredible and much larger than I expected it to be. The kitchenette was a huge help for us. We came in January so several of the restaurants in town were closed (maybe it was an offseason type thing?) but there were still several good options there! It was also close enough to Newport to do a few things if the weather isn't ideal but we spent most of our time exploring the tide pools down at the ocean! It was incredible overall. Would recommend and would stay again!
The website pictures and description imply that there is a view of the bay from the room. The real view - Highway 101 and a red dilapidated building - is not shown. The Ocean Cove Agate room is only about 10 yards from Highway 101, and the bay is behind the red building and not visible unless you press your head against the window.
Nice room, very comfortable, appreciated the skylights, a good place to stay within walking distance of restaurants and shopping..Traffic noise was mostly drowned out by the sound of waves breaking. Could have used more silverware and a better frying pan for those who want to cook.
The exterior has a vintage 60s vibe but the unit was updated and very comfortable. Yachats doesn't seem as touristy as some other Oregon coast spots. But there were plenty of restaurants and spots to explore. A nice state park is just a short walk from your door. And Yachats is centrally located for day trips to other sights along the coast.
We loved it from the moment we pulled. Quaint, cozy with a great layout.
Our room had a view of the bay and ocean across the highway and the noise was nothing more that what we deal with at home.
All the restaurants and shops made the convenience great and if I had known how much we would have liked this place we would have spent our entire week there.
