Waterfront Home with Heated Pool and Hot Tub

Come get away to a home away from home in Southwest Florida. We have done our best to create a comfortable and relaxing place to stay. Sit out on the screened lanai, swim in the pool and unwind in the hot tub.

Bring your boat and go from our dock on a sailboat access canal to the Gulf. Boat rental is available from the nearby marina.

We are located in the beautiful Palaco Grande neighborhood that is centrally located to many activities, restaurants and shopping.

It is not far to the beautiful Fort Myers Beach or shelling on Sanibel. If you want something closer there is a beach at Yacht Club Community Park.
Our prices include all fees. No hidden fees.

The home itself was clean. The home was an average mid century florida home. The home had some charm and was nice over all. Due to no fault of the homeowner the refrigerator was broken due to a part failure. The homeowner had it replaced within 3 days due to the technician availability. The homeowner did compensate us for any food and ice lost in those three days. The grill has seen better days. But overall i would recommend this property if you are looking for a nice home in a safe neighborhood and are on a budget.

Very nice stay

We really enjoyed our stay, especially the heated pool and jacuzzi. Contact with the owner was very good, the internet did not work and they send a cableman who renewd it.

Second Stay Just as Great!

This was our second stay at this property...it was just as great as the first! The house was clean, and perfectly suited to our family as we vacationed in beautiful Cape Coral. Our kids loved the pool, hot tub, and catching all manner of fish in the saltwater canal out back. The lanai was delightful, and we enjoyed the grill nearly every night. Great vacation spot!

A nice house in good location

The house was about what we were expecting. Was only disappointed not being able to heat the pool or bring hot tub temp up to a comfortable temp. Also was hoping to watch some football, but cable TV was not working most of the time.

Nice but it’s going to be hot

The house is was nice but needs updating the beds are hard as rocks and the way the have the air conditioning set the house is constantly hot and you do not get any relief from the heat so that was a down side to the house . Even when I did what the owner suggested closing bents to push air still did not work. The pool and hot tub were great the house is just dated . My family still enjoyed vacation

Over all the house was very nice. Pool was clean. Hot tub lid was broken so the hot tub was dirty but I let them know it was fixed the next day. We did find dead “Palmento” bugs (roaches) in the kitchen dead on the floor. I have friend & family that live in Florida and I understand these can be common. We just didn’t expect to see them as soon as we go there. My husband cleaned them up. We informed the owners they offered to have someone come spray. We declined that because we found dead ones. Aside from that the fish washer was half filled with dirty dishes and the grill was dirty as well and out of propane. We cleaned the grill and replaced the propane. Not a huge deal. The kids enjoyed the pool and fishing off the dock in the back.we over all had a nice stay. Only thing I think they should do is replace the bed pillows. They are down or something super flat and my family’s allergies went crazy with them we went to Walmart and got pillows to use while we stayed.

location OK, but not for everybody!

We came to an agreement with the landlord and moved out the very next day! The location is great, the landlord uncomplicated and really helpful. That in advance. The house had not been cleaned upon arrival. Cleaning took place after contact directly the next morning! The dishwasher filled with dirty dishes. There were still towels in the dryer, the floor was sticky, the beds were only shaken up with not clean bed linen. We washed the bed linen ourselves and then moved it. The cushion inlays are very old and should be renewed (old traces of sweat). The boat dock would not have been fully usable because the landlord has his boat there. Fastening your own boat to the concrete wall only in front of or behind, which can cause damage as it has an overhang. The cockroaches are OK, we had one in the house, one was in the pool the next morning, 3 ran away from me in the garage. Unfortunately, the garage could not be used either, as the landlord's vehicle and a lot of things were stored there. The kitchen is very worn, but the devices so far clean. Definitely overpriced for the price!

It's not perfect

Upon arrival, we noticed the home was extremely hot (79 degrees) but I thought maybe it was because they had recently turned the air down and the internet and tvs were very spotty at best. After staying for 2 weeks we were finally able to get all Tvs functional but the internet package they have does not support multiple devices streaming at once nevermind tvs. It will buffer constantly if more than 2 devices are connected to the internet at once. I emailed the owners about the ac and internet who said to close the vents partially in the back bedrooms. We did that which was no help with the cooling. They did send ac repair people who flat out told us that they looked at the call history and the owners have been told multiple times that the blower/ac unit needed to be replaced and has had no maintenance since 2014. So of course we just dealt with it being hot especially in the afternoons in the house for 2 weeks because at the point I knew they weren't going to fix it. The internet was reset multiple times but still buffered so we all just took turns using the internet. The beds really could use some mattress toppers if they arent interested in new mattresses cause the beds are extremely hard. The shower valve cartridges in both showers are bad so it is extremely hard to turn on showers in both bathrooms. With all that being said, we still had an enjoyable time while staying here. The pool was the best thing about the house and we really enjoyed that after a long day at the beach. If they were to maintain this home properly, I would have no problem staying again and paying more for the stay. There will likely be more reviews like this one if they don't begin to do some much needed maintenance. When I say maintenance, I don't mean updating the home which it clearly needs but just making sure everything is functioning properly (ac/showers/blinds/decent internet package) would be great.

The hosts were great in getting all the information provided in advance to make the process smooth. Overall a 4 because it seemed like nobody had stayed there for a bit so things were dusty/dirty. We ran a load of dishes through the dishwasher before using them. Would recommend having the cleaning crew check and do some spot cleaning before the next guest arrives.

We love this home!

This is the second visit for us and you can't beat it. The house has everything you need. We wanted a laid back, relaxing vacation and we loved being able to spend time at the home between beach visits. Will be back again for #3!

Girls week

I found the property to have quite a few pluses like the avocado tree in the back yard. However, there were a few minor glitches that were taken care of promptly by the host. The home still needs some updates like new verticals on all the windows and it would be nice to have a way to made the bedrooms darker for sleeping. All the extra beach items were great, but there were no beach towels. So my recommendation would be to get over sized beach towels. Over all our stay was great and my daughter loved the heated pool. She swam every day and even at night when I let her. Hope to be able to book this house for next year’s trip. I would recommend this place to anyone who is looking for a great place to just relax and enjoy some quiet time.

The house itself was great, pool was great and had everything we needed. The cleaning service however should be better!!! beds were not made when we arrived, found old food behind the trash can, light in master shower not working. Owners got back to us quickly when we did have an issue.

Bad vrbo experience

We arrived at the property and it had not been cleaned. We called the person I had been dealing with. Called the 2 numbers we had and left a message. My wife and I texted and got a response that the person couldn’t talk because they were driving from Boston. We left after about 2 hours. We are from Indiana and we’re stranded. Luckily we found a very nice and clean vrbo the next day. I was contacted via email 2 days later by the original vrbo we had rented. We have pictures of how it looked upon arrival. We had paid for vrbo with our southwest credit card. I called southwest credit card on Sunday and Monday 7-18 and 7-19 and my money was credited back to my account.

This property has everything you need and we had a lovely time here! We stayed in the pool and hot tub for the most part, and the pool being heated was a big plus. The house is close to shopping and restaurants, and the drive to Fort Myers Beach took about 30 minutes. The owners were just a text away and check in/out was so easy!

Perfect size for our family of four, could even have a couple more people. This was the perfect house for us, price was wonderful. Check in process was so easy and Leslie was quick to reply with a question I had after we arrived!

Our family of five is from CT. We worked hard (especially my husband) to make this house a nice place to vacation. We look forward to many years of enjoyment and hope to spend more time down here when we retire. My two daughters both speak German and we welcome any international travelers.

Why they chose this property

My husband and I have friends nearby who inspired us and we found this place that has sailboat access for my husband, a pool for the kids and nice yard and landscaping for me.
