This beautiful, three bedroom oceanfront suite is located just on the edge of Tofino overlooking picturesque Tofino Harbor and Clayoquot Sound. A short stroll to Tonquin Beach. Restaurants, galleries and tour operators are all within easy walking distance. Or take a short five minute drive to spectacular Chesterman Beach.

Vista Hermosa Captain's Quarters is Family Friendly. Pets are welcome to well-behaved and groomed dogs.

Awesome deck over the harbour
Have been coming back for 20 years to Vista Hermosa. Every comfort in a central location. Watch the sea planes and water taxis from the large deck over the harbour. Walk to everything!

We had a seamless check in and really enjoyed our stay in your lovely rental!! We would love to come and stay again!! It was perfect for us since we’re kayakers and left right from the boat launch out in front of this house!! ❤️

Fascination
There can't be a better view anywhere in the town of Tofino: The First Street Dock (the lifeline of the town), Lone Cone Mountain and the islands, the water, the sky, the boats, the seaplanes, the birds. The deck has sun all day long (on sunny days). Watch the light change, and the mist, otherwise. Owner lives below but we saw him once and heard him not at all. Walk down Main Street to Tofino Sea Kayaking for excellent morning espresso. Four minutes. Tonkin Beach is maybe 20 minutes' walk.

Best vacation ever!
Four friends got together, from four different places. We arrived to find plenty of space and a deck overlooking the dock, great for viewing the sound and hanging out. We were a short walk to the co-op, to whale watching adventures, and to excellent bakeries. Vista Hermosa even supplied coffee beans, a grinder and what we came to call emergency chocolate, readily taking care of any need for snacks as we walked on nearby trails. Beautiful!

Perfect location for the family. The house was clean and beautiful. All provisions required were there and more than required. The view was magic. Spent lots of time on the spacious patio watching the boats and sea planes.

We had a great stay ... for us, this is the perfect place for a visit to Tofino. The property is clean, exactly as described, and in a great location. Nice quiet location, it's great being just a few steps away from the grocery store. The property is clean, well maintained, and had everything we needed. Especially nice to have a kitchen that is so well stocked with supplies, it has all the tools you need to do your own cooking. Very comfortable beds and linens, we had great sleeps. Host is excellent, very quick to reply to messages, friendly and accessible. The property is really well kept, but what we really liked about it was the shared spaces. The living room and dining room are big enough that everyone can spend time together and visit, which you wouldn't get if you were renting a couple of hotel rooms. It's big enough that people can have some space on their own, or spend time together. We absolutely loved the location, but especially for the view of the harbour. If there's a day when the weather means you're stuck indoors, you could spend the day looking out that the boats and planes in the harbour. Vista Hermosa was perfect for our vacation, and we hope it works out so we can stay again.

The property was beautiful inside and out. The view was incredible and the house was well appointment. Walking distance from the center of town. Great communication with the owner as well. Overall a very positive experience.

This was our second visit to this property - the first time was 10 years ago. The facelift to the location looked great! Fantastic location if you want to get out walking in town and enjoy the boats and planes coming and going. Highly recommend this home.

Amazing Location, Beautiful Residence
While our trip from Vancouver to Tofino began with a flight cancellation and a four hour bus ride instead of a 1 hour flight, as soon as we walked into Vista Hermosa after a long day of travel, we were greeted with a completely updated, gorgeous property. The views, location, and ease of communication with our host made our first vacation to the Tofino area a most memorable one for me and my family. I highly recommend this residence and we do hope to return someday soon.

Great place to stay!
We had a wonderful stay at Vista Hermosa. It's perfect for two couples traveling together. Eric has done an amazing job with updates. The kitchen and bathrooms have been totally redone from what is in the photos. Everything was fresh, clean and updated. We originally booked because of what we saw in the listing, but then had a delightful surprise that it was even better. The view is amazing and it's fun to watch all the activity on the beach and dock out in front. The in town location is handy for restaurants, shopping and groceries. We hope to stay here again on our next trip to Tofino.

Comfortable house in a great location
I would definitely recommend Vista Hermosa. While the house is a little tired, it is clean and comfortable, the kitchen is well equipped, the location is perfect, and the views are great. There is always something to see in the marina. We even saw orcas one day (including a baby)! The house is a bit too convenient to Savary Island Pie Company. I recommend the cinnamon buns.

Can’t beat the view and location!
Loved the upper deck view and used the hot tub twice. Lots of room for two couples to share this location. The only reason I didn’t give this a 5 is that the pillows were hard and uncomfortable. The rest was awesome! Would recommend for sure!

Fantastic location!
Vista Hermosa was a perfect location and property for our family. It is comfortable, well appointed, and has breathtaking views. We enjoyed the hot tub and expansive deck overlooking the ocean. We will definitely stay at Vista Hermosa again on return visits to Tofino.
