About this property

900 yards from South Chestermans Beach: Tranquil Accommodations




THIS HOUSE is located in a quiet forested location which is in a private low density community located 900 meters from South Chestermans Beach, and is very close to Rosy Bay, and Cox Bay. It's only a 9 minute drive to famous Long Beach. Tofino's town centre is 7 km from this property and there is a small(tiny) shopping centre 3 km away where you can get fast food(Wild Side Grill), surf rental and gear and a variety of other items.

The house sits on a 3/4 acre forested lot and has three bedrooms, 2.25 bathrooms and a open concept kitchen where cooking turkey diners is easy due to its size and completeness. Of course there is a dishwasher.

As required by municipal law there is a caretakers suite which is entirely separate from the main suite. The house is wood frame construction so there is some noise transfer particularly in the upstairs portion of the rental side. The caretaker(the owner operator) is a quiet and friendly person who is usually not to far to help out with any question that may arise about the area or property. The hot tub is all yours(not shared) when you stay here.

*****BE ADVISED*****
1. This is family style accommodation. If your group is planning or has the potential to do a lot of drinking and/or keep late hours while here we strongly advise not booking this property. We do not rent to groups under the age of 30.

2. Tofino municipal laws limit the number of guests in any holiday rental to 6 persons. For this reason we do not except requests for more than 6 people.

3. When accepting bookings for summer and some shoulder season dates we are looking to book our property effectively as to not leave singe days empty. Please consider this when choosing your dates however please do not hesitate to enquire regardless.

4. Long weekends are a 3 night minimum in most cases.

5. FIREWORKS are NOT permitted in the area except Halloween and New Years Eve. Fire works are not permitted on this property at any time.

Place was gorgeous - everything you needed to enjoy the stay - extra blankets to get cozy on the couch after a hot tub out under the stars. The host was very responsive and helpful. Pet friendly, great porch, walking distance to the beach. Only thing would be it says its kid friendly (and it is, has games, books, ect) but some plastic plates, bowls, and cups would be helpful! Hopefully will be back again! Would recommend to anyone!

We had an amazing weeklong stay at Jason’s property. The home is situated on a quiet street with easy access to everything you need for a great trip to the island. It was clean, beds were super comfortable, and we didn’t lack for anything. Jason spoiled us with fresh fish for dinner one night which was a treat. The hot tub in the forest was the icing on the cake for a great stay. We are already browsing dates for next year!

I have lived in Tofino for over 20 years. During this time I've explored many of the far corners of the area being an avid sport fisherman and outdoor enthusiast. These interests are what keep me here.
I have owned and operated a commercial diving company in the area for over 15 years.

Why they chose this property

It is a lifestyle that I grew up with having lived in a handful of different tourism locations while growing up. My folks owned and managed a recreation property on a lake with cabins. I always really liked it and I have always enjoyed being close to the water.

What makes this property unique

This house and property are located in a low density private community. It's close to South Chestermans Beach but also just a short distance to Cox Bay, and sits about 7km from town and Long Beach in the Pacific Rim National Park.
As a requirement of our municipal law, vacation homes must have a person who resides on the property. I live in a caretakers suite that is entirely separate from the main quarters so while I am quiet and friendly I am not to far away to assist you with questions you may have about the house or the area.
