Dawn could not have been more accommodating during our arrival and departure. Her added check-in to forewarn us of icy conditions in the driveway was above and beyond. We look forward to our next stay.
The house was very cute and quaint, and the location was perfect for our destination. Communication with the owners was thorough, timely and professional. The surrounding property was beautiful and well kept.
The house and location was perfect for a quiet vacation. We were close to everything yet out in the country for a much needed quiet space. Definitely would stay again.
Great location close to some beautiful places in mid coast Maine. The hosts were very easy to communicate with. Pretty walk down to the lake. Enjoyed our stay!
A LOT of flies. The beds were really uncomfortable. Would have been nice to know the toilet was on the 2nd floor. Would also have been nice to know that the 'lake' in the images is a 20 min walk thru a junkyard or a 5 min drive with no ammenties at said lake. Not saying its awful, but saying its maybe misrepresented.
Beautiful old farmhouse. Needs a little TLC, but is located in a peaceful, quiet setting. It was a great location for a basecamp to explore Maine to the north and south.
Plenty of room for all. Grandson really liked being able to fish every evening! Very close to road and Hwy 1, which you hear during the daylight hours.Kitchen cooking implements could be improved. Owner did accommodate us when i booked one day short!Thank you!

The property and the farm family suited us to a "T"---truly terrific!
"The Little House" (the name of the excellent WI-FI service) was as neat as a pin and clean as a whistle; it lacked nothing that we needed or wanted. We are anxious to return next year.
Quiet and beautiful. The bed was heavenly after a long day on the road. We enjoyed a walk to the beautiful pond on the private farm road. House was immaculate and the porch as enjoyable on a beautiful Maine evening.
The communication with owners was awesome! Quick and easy. We were able to get an early check in which was terrific. We were excited to be able to share this space with our pups. Everything was as advertised. Short walk to the water. We didn't get in as it was a breezy day, but my husband did some fishing and caught a HUGE bass. He was excited.Huge thanks to Dan and Dawn for sharing this beautiful space with us!
I can’t say enough good things about my stay here at this fun farmhouse! Everything is neat and clean and well-maintained. Everything you could possibly want or need is here kitchen utensils, dishes, pots, and pans. Lots of spices in the cupboard. I could go on and on. I stayed here by myself with my cat. I am a 71 year-old. Retired nurse, so being in a safe places is important to me, and I certainly feel safe here. The hosts are fabulous. I had a couple little needs, which were promptly met. Great communication. I highly recommend this Place.
My wife, our dog and cat, and I spent Thanksgiving weekend here, and really enjoyed it. The house is very clean, the kitchen had everything we needed, and the farm property offers lots of great walking and nice vistas. Beth's farmstand, just 2 miles away, is one of the best in Maine, and if your party includes a woodworker, the LIe Nielsen toolworks showroom is just a mile off. Our hosts communicated with us easily and were helpful with anything we needed. Nice folks, nice place, nice time.
