With its original hardwood floors, doors, trim, hardware, and light fixtures, and with modern conveniences in the kitchen and bathroom, the home will not disappoint you. The home is located in a prime location for guests to enjoy strolling to Barista Parlor, Sweet 16th Bakery, Three Crow Bar, Marche, Bar308 and many other indie shops in the area. Enjoy quick access to Downtown and all other parts of Nashville. We feel this space and location will provide you with that bucolic Nashville experience.
We want you to enjoy your stay and feel at home. WI-FI and cable TV are provided. The kitchen is stocked with essential cookware and utensils for guests to cook and dine if they wish. Complimentary snacks, drinks, and coffee are provided. Fire up the gas grill on the outdoor patio and enjoy dining al fresco.
Check-in process is a breeze with a keyless entry. The access code will be sent to you the Monday prior to arrival.

As a host, I am committed to helping my guests feel comfortable and providing recommendations. Upon booking, guests will receive my guide to Nashville, which includes a list of our favorites and details about the cottage. I am always available by phone and love to meet and greet my guests if they wish.
This East Nashville neighborhood offers an assortment of cool coffee shops, super-hip cocktail bars, amazing restaurants, unique local shops and galleries, all within walking distance. If it’s the rolling hills of Middle Tennessee you desire, golf, cycling, hiking or just a good walk, all are nearby at Shelby Bottoms. If you are here attending a conference at the Music City Conference Center, you are a 10-minute easy commute away. Inquire with the host for further details. Downtown attractions are a short drive away where you can experience live music, famous Honky Tonks, Ryman Auditorium, Johnny Cash Museum, Grammy award-winning Nashville Symphony, Titans football and Predators hockey, just to name a few…again, “Welcome to Nashville!”
Guests without a car can easily walk to the grocery store (Kroger’s or Aldi’s), Barista Parlor (coffee shop), and many restaurants along with local retail shops.
The cottage is under 2 ½ miles from the Music City Conference Center, Titan's Stadium, honkey tonk bars, The Ryman Auditorium, Cumberland Park, Bridgestone Arena, and much more. We love using Lyft or Uber, and it’s only a $6-$8 ride to Downtown. Public transportation is available with the bus stop only two short blocks away. The apartment is centrally located in Nashville making driving times short to all the different areas in the city.
The cottage will be decorated for Thanksgiving and Christmas.
The home is a historic duplex with a separate apartment on the 2nd floor.

About the owner: Kris and I have lived in East Nashville for 9 years. We have three children, Tennyson (6), Eliot (4), and our third and last child Whit (born December 15, 2014). I am a Speech Pathologist who specializes in adults with strokes, but I am currently staying at home treasuring the moments with Tennyson, Eliot, and Whit. Kris is Director, Sales | Textbooks for Ingram Content Group. We hope you will fall in love with our neighborhood as we have. We love the proximity to Downtown, the walkability, and the ubiquity of local, independent restaurants, coffee shops, and retail shops. Most importantly, we love the strong sense of community provided by our neighbors, and we hope we can extend that arm to you.

We discovered this charming, historic neighborhood because of its proximity to Downtown, its strong sense of community, and its strong support of independent restaurants and retail. This historic neighborhood has a strong sense of culture and lots of creative energy. Everyone believes in knowing their neighbors. We love that we can get anywhere in the city in 15 minutes or less. Our neighborhood is appalled by traffic and chooses to not support gas companies :)
