Cute little place for a one or two person getaway

 • 4 of 5

Very cute place, small and functional with decent amenities and a comfy bed. Needs more three-prong (grounded) plugs. Don't try to park anything larger than a Smart Car in that carport. I have a GTI and it barely fit.

Property is also directly off Highway 101, so there's a good deal of traffic noise in the bedroom. The sound of the ocean in the living room is also quite loud, but in a really nice way.

Mobile phone service is spotty as all get out, and the wifi is ...not great.
Cape Cod Cottages

 • 4 of 5

Great location, cute small town, beautiful beaches, and a nice, no frills but comfortable room. Be careful about the added "taxes and fees" charge that gets tacked onto the reservation. This seemed unnecessarily high to me when I booked through a third party property finder.

Cozy and comfortable. Great views and beach

 • 4 of 5

If you are looking for luxury accommodations this is not your place. If you like cozy, comfy, rustic accommodations that has a great view, easy beach access, well equipped small kitchen, real wood (not gas) fireplace that welcomes your dogs this place would be for you.

I feel the location is very good as the fog seemed to be north or south of us as we had none.

Great, and not so good.

 • 2 of 5

Great location, great beach. Pretty darn clean, and well-stocked with the essentials and more. The condition of the cottage, however, was somewhat lacking. Outdated 2-wire (no ground) outlets from the 1960's, our phone charger would fall out of 2 of them with little help. The place is in serious need of updating and basic repairs. Loose patio knob, difficult to lock. Missing window screen, just a bunch of little stuff that adds up. Peeling paint on the patio, a very shoddy deck railing repair, old window (bathroom) coming apart at the corners. If this were priced correctly, I wouldn't have an issue, but I'd look for a place with better reviews for the same money. We had a great Anniversary weekend away in general, but the low point was the condition of this "cottage". A good point to make is that we had more than one conversation about the place right next door to the North, wondering if it was any nicer, and how the prices might compare. Your tenants should never have to have a conversation like that.

About Vacasa, OR - Oregon Coast Office

Thanks for considering a Vacasa home! We provide full-service management for privately owned vacation homes, and like to think that we offer our guests the best of both worlds: the unique experience of staying in a one-of-a-kind vacation home, with the peace of mind that comes from knowing that the home you book for your special vacation is cared for by professional housekeepers and property managers.

Vacasa began in 2009, simply because our founder and CEO Eric wanted to find a better way to share his wife’s family’s summer home in Long Beach, Washington with guests as a vacation rental. Eric and his early team worked to build Vacasa on the premise that local employees can do what they love most (taking care of guests, homeowners, and properties), while the hands-off tasks of vacation rental managementthings like marketing, filing taxes, and maintaining a website—could be handled by a specialized central support team.

Our passion is connecting travelers with the unique experience of staying in a vacation home, and we would be honored to be your host. Please contact us with any questions about this home—our team is standing by!
