A wonderful property

What a fantastic house to stay in. We stayed for 8 days in Aug and were immediately impressed as soon as we saw the house. It was a little tricky to find (down a stony dead end road) but the location was very peaceful. Nadine was a fantastic host. Excellent communication before and during our stay. The pool is lovely with plenty of outdoor garden space. Lovely and clean inside and spacious. Nadine even left a selection of drinks and essentials in the fridge for us. The kitchen is fully stocked with everything you will need. We cooked most nights on the BBQ. There is a table tennis table (which wasn’t listed so a very nice surprise) and also pet tortoises! Which my daughter fell in love with. The only downside is there are no shops in walking distance. Would have been nice to have a bakery for breakfast, bread etc nearby. We would definitely go back.

Pretty House, difficult Location

My only issue was with the narrowness of the roads you had to drive. The house is very cute, we’ll equipped, lovely pool and backyard. The owner, Nadine, was lovely and responded immediately. Experienced European drivers will have no problem with the roads. Americans with a too-large car will!

Ein Top Haus mit gepflegten Grundstück

Wir wurden am ersten Tag persönlich von den Eigentümern sehr freundlich empfangen. Wir wurden in allen Belangen eingewiesen. Das Grundstück ist sehr schön gepflegt und man fühlt sich sofort wohl. Durch den eingeschlossen Garten ist es besonders Kinderfreundlich, da diese nicht weg laufen können und die Eltern sich auch ruhig auf die Poolliegen legen können ohne Angst zu haben, dass die Kinder weg laufen. Desweiteren ist das Grundstück sehr großläufig und gepflegt und für die Kinder waren die Schildkröten und der sehr gepflegte Pool das Highlight. Das Haus entspricht allen Anforderungen die man sich wünscht und die Besitzer haben für alles vorgesorgt. Wir sind schon sehr viel im Leben gereist, aber das war eindeutig das beste Haus, vor allem im Preis - Leistungsverhältnis. Das einzige was ein Stern Abzug gegeben hat war die Strecke zum Strand und das die Lebensmittelgeschäfte nicht die Qualität von Lebensmitteln verkauft haben wie wir es unseren letzten Frankreich Urlaub kannten, aber vielleicht waren wir auch in den falschen Geschäften. Wir können dieses Haus nur weiterempfehlen, ob Familie oder auch allein.

Très belle villa

Nous avons passé de très bonnes vacances dans cette villa propre bien aménagée avec du mobilier de qualité Le jardin et la piscine sont très bien entretenues sans vis à vis et au calme Tout est fait pour que les vacances soit agréables Mme Scalzo est sympathique et a l'écoute de ses locataires Nous vous conseillons de louer cette villa pour passer de bonnes vacances Mauler /Deliez

Very nice house in Vence

This house is very nice, clean and well appointed. The pool is large enough for a short swim, and there are 2-3 terraces, which means that you can always find a sunny spot - or shadow, if that's what you want. When you have learned to navigate on the small roads in this area, it is easy to find restaurants, supermarket and other shops. The owner is very helpfull and accommodating. My warmest recommandation!

Excellente location

Une très jolie et spacieuse villa parfaitement entretenue dans un beau cadre, équipement irréprochable et qui foctionne, le grand jardin et la piscine sont des plus agréables et pourraient suffire à un séjour repos, alors que de nombreuses visites sont possibles à courte distance. Enfin nous avons aussi beaucoup apprécié la gentillesse et réactivité de Mme Scalzo et nous reviendrons sans hésiter, merci à elle !

The Pefect Getaway

Exactly as advertised, the perfect retreat from a busy life but near enough to Nice Aiport, good facilities and attractions. The hosts are a perfect example of customer service with just right amount of support and contact, but also leave you to enjoy your holiday in their beautiful property. If you want the perfect peaceful break, with pool and well appointed house, pretty close to St Paul De Vence and the all important supermarket, in the middle of rural southern France, then you just found it.

Lovely home with very nice pool in beautiful Vence

We are a family of 5 who stayed for 10 days in July 2018. We were greeted by the very nice owner at arrival, who provided us with cold drinks and coffee. We were pleasantly surprised by the beautiful house and property, it´s even nicer than the pictures. Both the house, the property and the pool are very clean and well maintained. We enjoyed several days just staying at the house, playing in the pool and sunbathing on sun beds provided. The house would easily fit 6 persons, with three bedrooms and two baths and toilets. Kitchen is well stocked with all equipments and there is a grill outdoors. The property is very peaceful and quiet, and lovely Vence centrum is just a 35 minutes walk from the house with restaurants and bakeries. It´s also easy to get to Nice and Cannes by car for day trips, and many nice small towns in the area. The owner was very pleasant and gave us tips and advice on festivals in the area and places to go, and responded quickly to any enquiries. We can absolutely recommend this property and hope to come back again next year!!

Sans la faire trop longue : mes meilleures vacances depuis 15 ans... c'est tout dire... L'accueil charmant de Mme SCALZO, la propriété dans un état impeccable, avec toutes les facilités et les équipements nécessaires, voire même superflus, l'endroit d'un calme absolu, mais en même temps, la proximité avec la très agréable ville de VENCE. Une superette à 3 min en voiture pour le pain et le journal du matin, et puis cette région en général, dont je ne me lasserai jamais. En un mot : MAGNIFIQUE souvenir.... Si Mme SCALZO le permet, j'y reviendrai... vivement l'année prochaine... Daniel COHEUR

Wonderfully peaceful and quiet home with a lovely yard and nice pool

My wife and I spent the month of June at Mme. Scalzo’s house in Vence. When we arrived, everything was very clean. The orchids were beautiful. Also, for our arrival, she had put some water and juice in the refrigerator and had coffee ready to go if we wanted some. The kitchen is very well stocked with plates, glasses and spices. There is a nice grill for outdoor bar-b-queing. There is a washing machine and clothes line if you need it. The yard and pool are well maintained by the gardener and pool service. It is a lovely place to sit and relax. The view of the mountains is stunning. There were many days that we loved seeing the colors in the sky as the sun went down behind the mountains. The house is next to a forest and the neighborhood is very peaceful and calm. We never heard any noise from any of the neighbors. We could sit outside on the patio and eat both lunch and dinner most every day. It did rain some of the time which is very unusual for this time of year. But she did have shades to protect us from both the rain and the rain. There are more than enough linens and beds were very comfortable. The house can sleep five or six adults very comfortably. The house is very pleasant with a large living/dining room combination. The internet worked fine. The internet speed is very fast and we had no problems accessing the internet. One of the best things about renting from Mme. Scalzo is that she is very friendly and helpful in case you have any problems. She responds very quickly to emails. We would definitely rent this house again.

Beautiful modern, quiet villa

A lovely home with charming and friendly hostess and host who are always available to help and advise on local attractions. We came intending to see the sights but ended up staying by the pool most days as the Riviera is so hot and crowded and this villa so comfortable and easy. My teenage children enjoyed their own rooms, one with private patio and the running track through the woods next door.
