3 bedroom family home with a new swimming pool for 2018. Sleeps 6.
Living in London, I have been fortunate to escape to the South of France for holidays and long weekends. Having an airport within easy reach is important to me, as is the proximity of an authentic year round town or village rather than simply a 'summer resort'. Antibes is definitely such a place with life and events happening year round.
Jane purchased this Villa in 2015
Why Jane chose Antibes
The house homely and welcoming and hope you agree. It's beautifully peaceful with the coastal breeze gently blowing through the native pine and oak trees. It has a new 7x4m swimming pool for 2018 with a state of the art filtration system. It uses magnesium filtration technology (often used in luxury spas) to keep your skin clean, soft and supple without the need for harsh chemicals. It is walking distance to the coast with its array of lovely restaurants and bars. The light is simply spectacular. It is a refuge from the hustle and bustle of life offering views through the trees of the sea, Antibes old town and the Southern Alps. The beautiful, white, sandy beaches and marinas are very close to the house, several within a few minutes walk. Proximity to Juan les Pins (and the Lerins), Antibes. Cannes, Nice, Mougins and Grasse too are within 30 minutes drive.
What makes this Villa unique
It's on the Cap D'Antibes and walkable to white sandy beaches, shops and restaurants The Provencal style house sits amongst lush green vegetation with a west facing terrace from which to watch the amazing pink sunsets.

Just a few minutes walk from the house is the Lighthouse (Phare de la Garoupe) and the Chapel offering spectacular panoramic views of Antibes including the ramparts and the Picasso Museum, Nice, the Southern Alps, Cannes, the Lerin Islands and the Esterel mountains. Less than 50 meters from the door is Le Bois de la Garoupe , a quiet wooded area again presenting one of the most beautiful views of the bay and old town of Antibes. Salis is a big white sandy beach lined with lovely restaurants and cafes overlooking the turquoise Mediterranean sea. Again Garoupe beach and from where the Cap walking path starts is not to be missed. Several of Antibes' best restaurants such as Restaurant du Bacon, La Plage Keller and Restaurant Pechers are very close to the house. Additionally the old town of Antibes and Juan Les Pins offer numerous restaurants, bars and cafes to suit all budgets.
For the more adventurous water-sports are available on Salis beach, although for me nothing beats an afternoon or evening walk around the Cap itself with its views back towards Nice and Monte Carlo watching the sunset with the locals.
