20 minutes drive from the cabin to the alpine ski-area complex at Big Sky and Moonlight Basin. 30 minutes by car to Yellowstone National Park. Tennis is available at the Big Sky Tennis Club and on public courts at Ophir School.

A scenic 1 hr drive south from Bozeman or north from West Yellowstone on Highway 191 along the Gallatin River, the cabin is reached via Beaver Creek Road and a private, winter-maintained road, 3 mi. south of the Big Sky spur road off Highway 191.
