This adorable, 2-story carriage house is about 700 square feet, and has an open floor plan with the living room and kitchen downstairs, and a large queen bedroom with one full bath (tub/shower) upstairs. There is an optional twin bed available in the same bedroom for an extra charge. The kitchen is stocked with an array of continental breakfast items for you to prepare at your leisure. Parking for one car is included, as well as cable TV and high speed internet access. The interior has traditional, Old World furniture and décor. This property is located in the very desirable “South of Broad Street” area in the historic district of downtown Charleston, but it is on a quiet residential street. You can walk to many wonderful shops, restaurants and galleries. The property has a lovely garden for you to enjoy. The tax rate on this property is 4%.

There is also a twin bed available for a third person with a daily $25 fee.

The house was charming. Small, comfortable with all amenities. Charming host & hostess who couldn't have been more gracious. The garden, available for guest use, is quiet, cozy and an enchanting place for morning coffee and evening cocktails. On a quiet street within short walking distance to all historic Charleston. Would absolutely return to this location!!

Wonderful property south of Broad!

My mother and I had a lovely time in Charleston and the stay at this charming B&B made the weekend perfect. The hosts are gracious and welcoming with a lovely setting on a quiet street tucked back in a beautiful garden. Just perfect. Hope to stay there again!

Hospitality and location are outstanding.

Perfect!

We loved our stay at 6 Orange St! It was like having our own mini apartment in the heart of the Historic District. The homeowners were pleasant to talk with and Becky went above and beyond to give us a special experience. From the dresh pastries each morning, to prepping thr coffee pot, making the beds, and providing fresh towels each day, she made our experience so nice. The cottage itself is clean and had all the amenities we needed. We have already recommended this property to others and would not hesitate about staying here again!

This B&B was perfect for our short stay in Charleston. The location is convenient and the owner could not have been more gracious. Becky provided delicious pastries both mornings and filled us in on all that was happening in Charleston during our stay. We look forward to staying here again on our next visit to Charleston!
