Great Getaway

The property was good. Location offers plenty of tranquility. Perfect for our family. Loved hiking in the hills close by. Well stocked pantry and toiletries. Unique collection of DVDs and music. the flooring needs some repair, bathroom needs a lock. Overall a wonderful getaway!

very nice

  • 5 of 5

We were greeted by an immaculate house when we entered. Everything we needed was there and operable, basically a very clean and comfortable house. Our stays in Joshua Tree are generally quiet, but this property, being well outside of town was especially quiet which was just what I was seeking. It was quiet once the howling of the extremely high winds died down. But the wind too was interesting--sounding like a winter blizzard in the NE but without the freezing temperatures and snow. Overall we had a very pleasant stay at the house, in the Park, and exploring Noah Purifoy's very nearby desert museum.

Desert Getaway

  • 5 of 5

We stayed at Eric's place for a few days after a trip to UC Riverside. The house is nicely isolated but not too far from Joshua Tree or conveniences like grocery stores and gas stations. We had a wonderful weekend full of making food, reconnecting with friends, and enjoying the solitude of the high desert.

The house is clean and comfortable and fits into the desert landscape nicely. We highly recommend making a visit to Eric's and hope to return soon!

Great desert getaway

  • 5 of 5

We stayed in Eric's place between Christmas and New Years with another family, and had a great time. The layout was perfect for our group, and the location really gave us the feeling of being in the desert while still having Joshua Tree and the National Park itself accessible. One interesting sight is just down the street from the house: Noah Purifoy's Outdoor Art Museum, a place we love to visit whenever we're there. We would definitely stay again.
