Location, Location, Location! This recently remodeled beach cottage featuring 2 lovely master bedroom suites, a cozy patio, and an upscale modern kitchen, is ideally located just a short stroll to the Oceanfront Boardwalk, Pacific Ocean beaches, Balboa Pier, Balboa Ferry, and the popular 'Fun Zone' of the Peninsula. As an added bonus you will also have access to an attached 2 car garage complete with 3 beach cruiser bikes, beach chairs, umbrella, and towels.

Upon entering the comfortable 2 bed 2 bath beach cottage only 2 blocks from the beach you'll be taken away by the charming front patio equipped with gas BBQ and table with umbrella. Once entering the home you are greeted by a warm and cozy living area that is nicely appointed with hardwood floors throughout, custom molding, large comfortable furnishings, a 45' flat-screen TV with DirecTV service, and wireless internet. The great room which incorporates the living, dining and front patio areas provides a perfect setting to entertain or relax with others. The large open living area with L shaped couch and two oversized chairs provide luxury seating to enjoy the 45' flat screen TV with DirecTV service. The full-service galley kitchen features granite counter-tops, newer appliances, custom cabinetry, full-sized refrigerator, coffee maker, keurig, nespresso machine, toaster, oven, microwave, pantry, blender, and cooking/eating utensils.

The first bedroom features a Cal-king-sized bed with linens, 42' flat-screen TV with DirectTV service, ceiling fans and plenty of closet space. The second bedroom has a full-sized tempurpedic bed, also with a ceiling fan and ample closet space.

One of the most attractive features of this vacation home is the availability of an attached 2 car garage, given the shortage of parking spaces available on Balboa Peninsula. The garage also stores 3 beach cruiser bikes can be used on the ever-popular bike path along the nearby oceanfront boardwalk that stretches for several miles along Balboa Peninsula as you take in breath-taking ocean views. On those days you choose to take the 5-minute walk to the beach, we provide you with beach towels, beach chairs, and umbrella.

The nearby Balboa Fun Zone is one of Southern California's oldest and last great coastal amusement areas. Since 1936, the Fun Zone's ferris wheel has been a day and night landmark on the Newport Harbor scene, beckoning all to join in the fun. Completely rebuilt from the ground up in 1986, the Fun Zone's ferris wheel, arcades, fun food, and shops still make it the highlight of every visit to Balboa and you are just a 5 minute walk to these attractions from your condo on Cypress St.Since 1919, the nearby Balboa Island Ferry has provided continuous service between Balboa Peninsula and Balboa Island. The crossing is only about 800 feet but it is very scenic where you will see sailboats, luxury yachts, sea lions, dolphins, and pelicans diving for fish.

This location is unmatched, within a minutes walk to the beaches, bay, countless restaurants and bars including a Pavillions (grocery store) great for stocking up on all your goodies.

The beach of course is the main attaction as well as the board walk that spans 3 miles right along the coast great for bike rides, jogs or walks. We also enjoy the bay/harbor where you can stand up paddle board or take a harbor cruise on a duffy stopping off at the various restaurants and bars that reside on the bay/harbor. A ferry ride to Catalina Island also makes for a fun all day activity.
