Beautiful sunsets and awesome panoramic views await you from this Newport Beach, oceanfront location! Just steps from the Newport Pier on the boardwalk, in summer, winter, spring, or fall, this Non-Smoking, oceanfront duplex is definitely all about location, vacation, rest, and relaxation.
Enjoy breakfast or a family barbecue on the huge deck of the upstairs unit in the summer and watch the dolphins swim by or on a winter's morning enjoy your view of Catalina Island. The first bedroom has a Queen-size bed, and the second room has a bunkbed with twin and full mattress. Two sets of double French doors open up to the rather large deck.
The downstairs unit Listing #430032 offers an equally amazing view to be enjoyed from a patio and on a beautiful winter's night - why not listen to the waves as you enjoy a cup of hot chocolate by the woodburning fireplace. This unit offers the same sleeping arrangements as the upper unit. A sliding glass door opens up to a patio area and a barbecue right on the boardwalk. If we don't have availability in the Upper we may have in the Lower.
Walking distance from great restaurants, live music, and shops in the heart of the Peninsula. If you are looking for activities, there are plenty to choose from - boogie boarding, surfing, check out the World Famous 'Wedge,' sailing, boat rentals, whale watching, Catalina Island, the Balboa Fun Zone, Fishing, shopping at Fashion Island, and more.
This rental is just 15 minutes from John Wayne Airport, 20 minutes from Disneyland, California Adventure, and a short drive from Los Angeles International Airport, Sea World, San Diego Zoo, Hollywood, Universal Studios, Knotts Berry Farm, Long Beach Aquarium, Queen Mary, and many other tourist attractions.

About Doug & Sandi Vanian
Sandi and I (Doug) got married in 1997. We lived in this beach house owned by my family for 5 years. As our family grew so did the need for additional space. We now live 10 minutes away. I'm currently CEO of the household :-) and look after the family property and my wife is a flight attendant with Alaska Airlines. We have the best of both worlds - when the property is not occupied by wonderful tenants we get to enjoy all it has to offer.

You can’t beat the location of this house! It is in the heart of the action! Right by restaurants, bars, shopping, bike rentals etc. The owners are wonderful and very helpful. Would definitely stay here again!
Wonderful place to stay!
We enjoy our stay every year in this ocean front condo! It is so close to many restaurants and other attractions, we stopped getting a car a few years ago and just walk and bike everywhere. The owners are so lovely to work with and they put a lot of attention into the condo every year, constantly making it nicer and nicer. The patio is directly over the park, which provides a lot of entertainment, that's for sure! The area gets pretty busy on weekends but later at night and weekdays it is quiet and nice.
Beachfront awesomeness with FREE Peoplewatching
Awesome beach bungalow with an onsite reserved parking spot. This condo was great for a family of 4 with quick easy access to the beach and all the restaurants, bars and entertainment at the Newport Pier. The upstairs deck is awesome to BBQ, watch the sunset have an adult beverage and make all the passerbys jealous that you are at a prime location. The condo is outfitted with everything that you need from beach towels to cooking supplies. The owner is very responsive and communicative. I would easily recommend this property to friends and relatives.
Amazing Hosts, Location, and Stay
We had an absolutely great experience renting from Doug and Sandi. They were terrific hosts that made it very easy for us to enjoy our stay, hassle-free. The location is unbeatable for the rest of the Newport area. Incredible view and in the middle of all the fun. Easy access to shops, restaurants, and Newport Coffee Shop which is brilliant.
Ths house was exactly as advertised and they have done some aesthetic changes and they look great. Ceiling fan in the living room is new.

Location Location Location.... This place is awesome! I surprised my husband & 2 kids for spring break/hubby's birthday and we all really enjoyed ourselves. The owner is very nice & super helpful. The unit has an amazing view & great location close to shops, food & most importantly the water. If you are looking for super quiet, this prob is not the spot for you. There is a bit of noise from about 7am-9pm even on the week days from passer byers, but we have kids & are early risers so it did not bother us. We look forward to booking again in the future.
My only gripe: The master bed: It is very comfortable, but very loud. The metal frame makes a lot of noise when you move even just a little. This could be why the reviews from the downstairs unit say the upstairs tenants are noisy.

great location! Right on the beach walking distance to many resturants and stores.
Great location for the beach, resturants, and bars. 2nd floor deck is great for sitting out in the sun, having a meal or people watching. Location is in the pier, resturant and bar area very convient, but can be loud at night.
