We have three secure parking spaces in the rear of the house or street parking in the front. All guests are advised to NOT park in front of the gray house across the street. Please park in front of our property. Trash receptacles are located in the back yard and the city picks them up on Thursdays. We have a few private and personal areas that are marked as such. This is our personal home.

About the owner: I am originally from a small town in West Tennessee. Grew up in a town where you were more like to see a cow cross the road than a sports car. There were no red lights and no McDonalds. When I told my family I was moving to the big city of Nashville, they almost flipped. In 2004, I met Gerry, who 8 years later, became my wonderful husband. Gerry is from Sri Lanka and works in IT. While he keeps his hands moving across a keyboard, I keep my hands dirty with drywall mud, caulk, and whatever construction materials I come across that day. I pride myself as a home renovator. Gerry and I share two universal loves (aside of course from family and friends). We LOVE to travel and we LOVE to snuggle up with our schnoodle doodle, Jojo and now our newest addition, newborn baby girl Ansley. Since combined Gerry and I have been to more than 30 countries, we often get asked if we could live anywhere, where would it be. Our answer is Nashville! We can't wait to welcome you to our favorite place in the world.
Why the Owner Chose Woodland in Waverly, Nashville, TN, USA:
This property is located in the best neighborhood in Nashville...and only 2 miles from downtown! Rich with history, character, and proximity to all things cool about Nashville. The house was built in 1887 (the oldest standing house in the Neighborhood). In the early 1900's, when the first street cars were added to Nashville, the house was uprooted from its location on 8th Ave and moved with logs and mules onto it current foundation. Since that time, the house has been a catering company and a daycare. We purchased the house after it sat for over a decade vacant. We renovated it to the original 2x6 studs. Although we updated all the mechanics, we restored everything that we could to it's original charm.
