Our Beautiful, New, 11th Floor, Courtyard Studio Is Now Fully Remodeled

Aloha from the gorgeous studio condo #1115 at The Whaler on Kaanapali Beach.

**This is the newest of four condos that we have listed on VRBO. The three other condos are also listed at The Whaler, and all of them have excellent reviews. You can view the links below, and be confident in both the quality of the condo that you are booking as well as the customer service that we offer.**

Our gorgeous condo is located on the interior, courtyard side of the 11th floor. And A FULL remodel was very recently completed (February 2015). The newly rebuilt interior features a wider, more spacious kitchen with new stainless steel appliances and a gorgeous, oversized granite peninsula that opens up the entire condo. The vanity features a matching granite counter and a new oversized, wall-to-wall mirror. And the bathroom now has a walk-in tile shower.

The condo has a comfortable, king-sized bed (unlike many of the studios, which have queens) And there is a pullout couch for an additional bed. The condo also has a new flat screen HDTV with cable and DVD player, and there is complimentary high-speed WiFi.

The newly remodeled interior is certainly beautiful, but the it's the lanai that provides the stunning views of the ocean and the world famous Kaanapali Beach. You can enjoy a chi-chi on the chaise-lounge without even leaving the condo. And the new kitchen is fully equipped, allowing you to enjoy either the beautiful sunrise or sunset on the lanai with a fresh cooked meal - it is one of the best tables on the island!

The Whaler provides the luxury and convenience of combining the amenities of a hotel complex with those of a personal condominium. The Whaler is comprised of two 12-story towers. Over the last ~3 years, the property has completed over $30 million in renovations, including a newly renovated courtyard with koi ponds, as well as a new hot tub and new tile and railings on the lanais. The Whaler has a beautiful, oceanfront pool, complete with lounge chairs and shaded cabanas, a hot tub, and towel service. Immediately adjacent to the pool deck, is the towel cabana, where you can get a fresh towel to use both at the pool and on the beach. Also on the property is a fully equipped exercise room, business center, sauna, salon, 5 propane BBQs, convenient underground parking, and a bellhop.

Also, The Whaler just recently completed renovating the tennis courts. The two new beautiful tennis courts and rental rackets/balls are available to guests free of charge.

The condo is located 11 stories above the paved promenade that stretches the length of Ka’anapali beach. Along this promenade are many of Maui’s premier stores and restaurants, as well as many of the exciting activities available on the island. There is an almost infinite amount of tropical activities at your fingertips. Surfing lessons, paddle-boarding, catamaran excursions, luaus, scuba diving, whale watching, and two top-class golf courses are just some of the many options that are available right outside the condo. If you are feeling even more adventurous, there is a plethora of day-trip adventures you can embark upon. You can take guided, sunrise/sunset tours of Haleakala (or even mountain bike down it!), go zip-lining, horseback riding, hiking, or take a helicopter tour of the island. There is always something incredible to do on Maui, and this condo on Ka’anapali beach is located at the heart of everything.

Beautifully furnished codo with a stunning ocean view

This condo on the 11th floor is beautifully furnished. The view of the ocean and courtyard are wonderful. The location of the whaler is perfect. Pool area is clean and comfortable. Parking is underground with close access to the elevator. Staff at check in and check out are efficient. Valet parking is available. Many wonderful Restrauants within walking distance. We would definitely rent this condo again.

The Whaler 1115

Perfect beach studio within walking distance to a calm swimming cove with great snorkeling. Condo had everything we needed for comfortable living during our two week stay in December. We appreciated having a sunny balcony this time of year. Great location with fabulous view. Quiet at night for sleeping with the sounds of the ocean waves. Would love to return for another stay.

Black Rock Beauty

We can't say enough about this unit at the Whaler and the Black Rock team from whom you rent. The studio has amazing views of the water - indeed a favorite activity for us is time on the lanai, relaxing, whale watching, reading with a coffee in the morning or a cocktail in the evening. The floor plan in the unit is surprisingly effective. The location on this world famous beach offers lots of activities for any outdoor enthusiast or the ability to spend quiet time listening to the surf. Black Rock provides well for your stay from a welcome basket to condiments in the unit to beach equipment in the closet. Neighbors are typically friendly and clearly enjoy the benefits of the property.

Our last night on Maui featured a rainbow following an evening misty shower while sitting on the beach, a stupendous sunset, Hawaiian music and hula at a neighboring resort, and sounds of surf as we fell asleep. What a way to finish a vacation.

The Black Rock team went out of their way to accommodate our special requests. Because of their efforts, we truly enjoyed our return trip to their unit and we are saving for another vacation to Maui. No need to wonder where we plan to stay!

Fantastic unit, completely remodeled. Very nice. View and sunset from the lanai are spectacular. Afternoon sun hits it perfect. It's truly the perfect location. We will definitely stay here again.

  • 100% refund if canceled at least 60 days before arrival date.
  • Service Fee fully refunded on cancellations that qualify for 100% refund.
