This was a very nice place to stay. Salvo was very helpful suggesting restaurants and making reservations for us. It was very comfortable and spacious. We were 7 women so having a bathroom in our rooms was great. This place is away from the city so a car is a must. Salvo is a great host!

Perfect Stay

The host was very helpful and super respectful. He showed us an amazing food spot in Ortega. The house was lovely the pool was the perfect temperature and the space was just very relaxing. Most definitely will booking through him again.

Great family holiday

Great villa as described. We were 2 families with 5 X 19-13 year olds and the villa was perfect for us all - spacious, comfortable, each room with ensuite and a lovely pool. Close to all areas with car to Ortigia, Arenella beach, Siracusa, Noto etc. Salvo is a fantastic host, super friendly and always available to help with enquiries and making reservations for us. Thanks for a great week Salvo.

On my page it says that the villa is 3 minutes from the sea by car, I don't understand what you mean! I live in my structure which is separated from the villa reserved for guests. I help all the guests because I like to welcome with Sicilian hospitality, not because I live here

We stayed during peak season in August for 7nights and we had a fantastic stay!The house is clean, spacious, modern, great WiFi and aircon. The kitchen is very well equipped, the pool is lovely and the areas around it, great for relaxing. Location is fantastic as a base for exploring the island. We travelled to Ortigia, Noto, Modica, many beaches including Fontane Bianche, San Lorenzo, Arenella & Avola.Salvos was on hand to help with anything we needed, he recommended some wonderful restaurants which he booked for us. He even cooked us a wonderful dinner one evening and is just a genuinely kind hearted person. Do not hesitate to book Salvos’ property, you will not regret it. Thank you Salvos, we wish you all the best for the future

- Villa in quiet area outside Siracusa - All rooms nicely decorated with new furnishings - Plenty of seating outsides to enjoy nice weather - Villa in good location, less than 10 mins to the beautiful Arenella beach, and prime position for visiting other towns (We went to Noto, Catania, Fontane Bianche & Ragusa). The Old Town of Otigia is about 15 mins drive away which is a lively hub of restaurants and bars set in the beautiful old town - Savlo was very welcoming. He provided us with great advice and recommendations

Best Place to visit Syrakus!

The Vila had everything and also the amount of equipments, televisions, chairs etc… is more than sufficient! Everything is clean in the Vila and the place is in a very silent area , perfect for relaxing after a visit in the city or beach. Salvatore is a very experienced and excellent owner. He helps where he can , respond very fast and is able to organize perfect evenigs in the best restaurants of Syrakus, where you never would have got a place without his help.You have nice beaches and the city very near so a perfect location. Beautiful spacious house with a lovely pool

We had a lovely stay at Salvo's villa. We were 6 adults and 3 children. All the rooms are big and have their own bathrooms (almost like hotel rooms) They are lockable as well so this is the perfect house for big groups. You need a car because the village itself is quite small but you are a 5 min drive from the beautiful city of Syracuse and the same distance from the beach. It's a great location to be based in. Salvo is a great host. He helped us with restaurant reservations and fixed any problems we had quickly. He lives on site in another property but was very discrete. I would definitely recommend staying here. We had a lovely stay.

pool house near Syracusa

We had a wonderful time in this modern spacious 6 bedroom, 6 bathroom house. There was plenty of room for our large group. We were a little taken aback that there was very little basic supplies, such as TP, soap, shampoo etc. but once we hit the grocery store we were good to go. The owner Salvo is very friendly, helpful and present as he walks by the pool/patio area to get to his place. He directed us to the supermarket, advised us on 4 beautiful beaches all within 10 minutes of the house, and gave us advice on Syracuse, which is 20 minutes away and wonderful. On one of our last nights, he treated our entire group to a yummy bbq meal that he and a friend grilled for us at our place. The neighborhood is suburbia next to the countryside but there is no walking into town. You must have a car.

Att bo hos salvatore var en ynnest. Det var ett hus i utkanten av fanusa och mer än väl av utrymme. Pool och ett litet gym. Det enda vi saknade var att vi inte hyrde bil men det gör vi nästa gång. Vi var 8 vuxna människor och det blev inte trångt en enda gång. Salvatore var gästvänlig och inkluderande och kunde hjälpa med det mesta på innan viatelsen men även under vistelsen. Kan starkt rekomendera.

Perfect vacation

The place is very nice. Villa is clean, spacious, functional. It has all the necessary equipment. There is a beautiful garden with a pool. Perfect place to visit with friends, family and kids. It is close to the beach, shops or restaurants. Owner is awesome. Friendly, helpful, makes your stay comfortable as possible. Salvo helps literally with everything if you need. He also prepared for us delicious dinner in Sicilian style. All of us had a great time at this place. We definitely reccomend this to everyone and give 5 stars. Thank you for perfect vacation!

Birthday celebration

Villa is well-maintained. Kitchen brand new with a lot of equipment. Good refrigeration capacity, and also space for deep frozen products. Very good outside possibilities: nice and large pool with a good depth, plenty of deck chairs if you want to enjoy the sun. We were 12 persons, and there was room enough for all of us to enjoy our holiday.

Super toffe vakantie gehad. De gastheer had totaal geen moeite met het feit dat wij een groep jongeren waren. We werden met open armen ontvangen en overal mee geholpen. De eerste dag werd ons gelijk een ritje naar de supermarkt aangeboden en er is op onze laatste avond heerlijk voor ons gekookt. Het huis was tip top in orde en de gastheer is een absolute vriend geworden, tijdens onze vakantieweek.

Lovely Accomodations

Our group of 6 thoroughly enjoyed our stay in Salvo's home. Each bedroom was very spacious and comfortable. The upgraded kitchen had everything we needed with plenty of seating area both outside the kitchen and around the poolside. With the grocery store being nearby we enjoyed eating in most nights but also enjoyed a fabulous local restaurant just 5 minutes away and right on the water. Salvo was very responsive when we asked for his assistance a couple of times and a gracious host.

Did not live to our expectations

First of all. We weren’t given the property we originally rented. He gave us the property next to it which was very nice. He get shutting our air conditioning and our lights electricity to his economic purpose. We didn’t have toilet paper or kleenex we got in. I have rented many properties before and this is the first time this happens. He doesn’t have to replenish but the initial service should be there. So the property was new and just renovated I don’t understand why we weren’t given the property we originally rented and I would like a reply to this otherwise I will never again rent from vrbo. There was another family there that was renting it. He told us ours was newer but that shouldn’t have been his call. He supposed to notify us beforehand so we could’ve said something and then he was funny about it. Thank you

I am disappointed to be reading your negative and untruthful review! 1 At your arrival I let you know that 2 rooms had bathrooms that were out of order but I proposed for you a villa that although listed at a higher price, I could give you and not charge you for extra money in exchange for letting you use it. You HAPPILY accepted. 2 You asked for toilet paper and I provided you with a pack despite it not being my responsibility to provide you with toilet paper. For 3 consecutive nights you woke me late night in my sleep because you had misplaced or forgotten your keys and I got up to let you into the house. You leave all lights and air conditioning on each time you leave the house, is this how you do things at your house? You left trash and garbage all over the place, do you live this way at home? The morning you left you showed no manners, didn't even say goodbye. You are the type of guests I would hope to never have to recieve. Now read the 17 reviews before your negative review!

Super vacances

Nous avons passé un super séjour chez Salvo qui a été arrangeant pour l’heure de notre arrivée. Nous avons eu un accueil chaleureux, les chambres sont spacieuses et propreté irréprochable. L’extérieur est très agréable et la piscine assez grande pour 11 adultes et 2 enfants. La maison est bien située (proche de Syracuse, des plages). Nous avons partagé un repas avec Salvo qui est une personne adorable et très attentionné envers ses hôtes, pour ces raisons encore merci pour ce super séjour 😊😊😊

Nice house in rural area

We were 13 People, 6 adults and 7 children from 6-14, that really enjoyed a week in Siracusa. Salvo was a great host with a big hart. He knows everybody and he helped us reserve tables at restaurants and gave recommendations about where to og and what to do. As he also lives on the property we met him every day, and he did his best to make our stay as good as possible. The area is rural, but close to downtown and beaches, but a car is necessary to come around. Parking was never a problem on the street outside the gate. All the sleeping rooms are very nice with tiles, A/C and seperate bathrooms with shower, as shown on the pictures. With the coming refurbishment of the Kitchen and outside area the house will be even better.

Above expectations

We were a group of 12 friends and this house was just perfect for us. Everything is just as it looks in the pictures, there are no surprises, everythings is clean and all the utilities work fine. At the ground floor there is a big kitchen that is well equipped with anything you need (we even had a bialetti moka express that we used daily). It leads on the terrace. Near it and on the other sides of the house, there are 3 more bedrooms, each with its own bathroom. On the first floor there are other 4 bedrooms, 2 in front (with terrace), 2 in the back, all looking the same, and each with its own bathroom. All the bedrooms look very nice, are very spacious and clean, with towels for every person, a big closet and some even have a tv and a fridge. The garden and pool are incredibly well kept, Salvo takes very good care of them and pays attention to every detail. The house's location is a bit far from town (7-10 min by car), but you have restaurants and shops in the neighborhood. Do ask Salvo for directions, he is very helpful and knows the area very well. We really enjoyed our stay and strongly recommend this property. Salvo is one of the best hosts we ever had and we thank him for his dedication (and humor)! :)

Villa met mooie tuin inclusief groot zwembad

Fijne week gehad met onze familie in de villa. Salvo goede gastheer die altijd voor je klaar staat en je voorziet van alle mogelijke advies wat je wilt hebben. Jammer dat de villa buitenaf ligt, als je erop uit wilt, moet je eigenlijk altijd met de auto. Verder veel honden wat 's-nachts nog wel eens lawaai geeft. Villa ligt nabij de stad (10 minuten auto) Siracusa waar veel te zien en te beleven is. De gastheer neemt je zelfs mee naar een echt siciliaans restaurant waar je kunt genieten van de keuken ter plekke. Het zwembad bij de villa met de ligbedden erom heen zorgen voor een heerlijk buitenzijn!

Eerlijk gezegd, ik een betere beoordeling verwacht, gezien de behandeling die je hebt ontvangen ... Ik had eerlijk gezegd niet verwacht dat een van uw klacht over blaffende honden van de andere villa's, je vertelde me dat thuis je honden voor het evenement zijn dom? Het gazon u het verliet in slechte staat, voetballen de hele dag, ik heb gebroken twee lampen en een buis voor de afdaling van het water, zonder waarschuwing me, het is niet synoniem met goed onderwijs en rispetto.Buon geluk Salvo
