1000 Islands Great Camp Island Retreat available for the 2026 rental season

We are enjoying our 30th year of island life in 2022. There has never been a day when this fantastic way of life is less than prefect.

Our home is located on "Millionaires Row" which neighbors famed Boldt Castle and puts guests in very close proximity to the Village of Alexandria Bay and all amenities needed with a very short boat ride (average of 3 minutes) to make island living most enjoyable. If one hasn't enjoyed island living before here are some things to keep in mind: Most islands don't have a drilled well (we have one!) with potable water and they are left pumping water from the river which cant be consumed- hauling drinking water to the island can be a constant chore. Our commercial grade ice machine makes 240 pounds of ice daily and has 80 pounds in the bin ready to use 24/7, hauling ice on hot summer days to an island is also a constant chore. We have very good reliable fast high speed Wi-Fi internet as well, most islands have limited or no internet. Our island property is about 95% maintained grass lawn and is quite flat so it doesn't require one to climb a huge hill or cliff to access the home. Many islands don't have protected harbor dockage and guests boats are left to the conditions of severe boat wake which can be damaging, we have 80' of protected safe harbor dockage. we also have some of the freshest clean deep water for swimming off of our front dock channel side. Many island homes sit in shallow stagnant water which isn't pleasurable for taking a swim on the hot summer days.

The expansive views from the front porch and the very same views from the great room are views that one never tires of. Seeing vessels passing by in your front vista 24-7 is something one always stops to watch.
