Enjoy some peace and quiet on the new (2021) deck looking at the St Lawrence River or relax in the sun room with a book. This newly renovated cottage offers 3 bedrooms with sleeping for seven, there is also a trundle bed beneath the bunk beds, so technically 8. 2 full baths, Brand new kitchen with all new appliances, cookware and eatery & living room with picturesque views. This is the perfect home away from home. We also offer a dock for your 18' boat and there is a boat ramp less than 1 mile away. You can also enjoy a game of Basketball at a public court within waling distance or go for a swim only a few feet away.

Location, location, location!

We loved staying at this house right on the St. Lawrence River. Great views, great neighbors, so much peace. The house is lovely -- terrific, new bathrooms and well-equipped kitchen. Highly recommend!

Girls trip

This was our 14th yearly girls trip . First time in Clayton . Absolutely loved our rental . Very clean and comfortable. Met so many nice and helpful people near our rental . House was equipped with everything we needed . Look for to a return trip .

Relaxing on the River

This is our second time visiting in this space. The home is great for families and in a fantastic location. The riverfront deck is a perfect spot for sunsets, outdoor entertaining and grilling as well as watching the ships go by. We love the new updates! We enjoyed our time immensely and hope to be back soon!

Amazing views and friendly locals

We have been coming to the area for 4 years now and this is by far the best location we have stayed at. The house was just as advertised and clean. But it's the view that gets you. The best sunset views I've ever seen. Located in a housing park, the locals we friendly and very nice to talk to. There was a plethora of things to watch from birds, to ships, to bunnies. The location is very central to all the activities in the area as well making getting around very simple. My entire family loved the location and we have already booked our trip for next summer!!!

Best place ever

This was our fourth year in a row and this place is our most favorite vacation spot. The house is great and we continue to enjoy meeting all the neighbors. Not to mention great time fishing and boating. We will be back next year.

Beautiful cottage, relaxing stay

Absolutely beautiful and well cared for cottage. Extremely clean, comfortable and stocked with everything you could possibly need. Dan the property manager was very helpful and quick to respond to any questions. The neighbors were very friendly. Would definitely stay here again

Beautiful view!

Very nice home! Tv upstairs didn’t work tv down stairs was like a 24 inch. Tried calling Dan but his phone went to voice mail. The owner was sick didn’t want to bother him . It’s a beautiful place great view. Nosy neighbors that walk around the house every morning at 7 AM. So if you don’t mind then it’s fine. We had a fire one night next morning they were out there staring at the fire pit. Other than that I really was a great place perfect spot for your boat.

Amazing family vacation

We were pleasantly surprised by the cleanliness and quality of this property. A lot of rentals have cheap furniture and mattresses, not this one. Everything felt like high end quality and the beds were actually comfortable! The location is situated between both Clayton and Abay whcihw as very nice. There are also 2 state parks with beaches within a few miles as well. We hope to be back next year!

Wonderful River Rental

We spent a week and thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The house was was very nice, well stocked and the view of the river and sunsets were fantastic! Dan, the property manager, was very helpful with information and answers to our questions. We would definitely request to stay at this rental the next time we plan a vacation in the area.

This has become our yearly trip.

The setting is absolutely gorgeous. Enjoyed it so much booked again next year. Dan was great and helped us with our boat launches and parking. We really appreciate it.

Updated cottage with a view

This property was a dream come true! Everything is brand new!! Kitchen was a dream!! There is a sun porch, and sunrise patio for coffee! The outdoor patio is huge and offers breathtaking sunsets!! We had no issues what so ever!!

5 of us stayed here for the week, we absolutely adore the property. The view of the St Lawrence is amazing the sun sets on the river are absolutely stunning (to the point we hurried home to watch them nightly). The community in the park is very nice and treated us all like family, my Grandchildren fell in love with Ginger the dog LOL. All in all i would highly reccomend this rental to anyone.

Great property and location

Joe and Dan were fantastic communicators. The property was well maintained and we loved the renovated house. Neighbors were incredibly friendly. Location was great and waking up to a beautiful view of the river was one of our favorite parts. We’ve been coming up for over 30 years and this place was easily one of our favorites!

Simply Great

If you are looking for a fully renovated camp on the River this is your place. We enjoyed every bit of this place. The views of the big boats and the sunsets from the deck are amazing. We enjoyed the fire-pit located right on the edge of the river. The local property maintenance man “Dan” was exceptional. We would absolutely visit again. Thanks!

Beautiful spot to explore the thousand islands from!

No complaints at all about this place! Beautiful view of the river right from the living room. We brought our 18’ IO boat and took it out almost every day. It is pretty shallow getting in and out of the bay where the house and dock is. Great for swimming for the kids but a little tricky with a loaded boat. Wouldn’t be an issue if the water was higher. But, Dan was great getting us set up and giving us tips on navigating the river and spots to go. Met a few people from the trailer park behind the house. Everybody was super friendly. Most nights we had the fire pit to ourselves tho. House was super comfortable and had everything we need. Hope they keep renting the place out!

Good, but not great

When we first got to the house I could not unlock the door but once I reached out to Dan and joe they had that fixed right away. The house was perfect. Super clean and they had everything you need for a comfortable stay. We booked the house for a group of women to get together for my bachelorette party. The house sleeps 6-8 so naturally everyone met at the house and there was 6 vehicles parked in the driveway. It did say on the info only 2 cars to be parked at a time but I did not catch that. The next morning Dan pulled up and told me I needed to move cars because there was complaints even though by this time half the vehicles had left and the other 2 were going to be leaving within a few hours and I did have guest coming to congratulate me and visit by the water. I explained this to Dan and did not understand why a couple extra cars during the afternoon was such a problem if they were up out of the way and leaving and he just said people of the trailer park were complaining and that there was a parking spot on the other side of the trailers and left in his boat. My guest had to drive around and ask the residents of the area where we were to park and it was on the opposite end of all the trailers. I then went to pick them up because I was bothered I invited them and then they had to do all of that and it was 87 degrees and I was driving 8mph, yes the speed limit is 5 mph but I was just scooting across to get them and the residents were yelling slow down at my car and my guest said they were shouted at when they drove through too and they were not going above the speed limit! We wouldn’t have had to move if they did not claim our cars were an issue. I could not figure out why they were even considered in the way as there was plenty of space by the drop off and pick up area for anybody to pull in and turn around even if they had a big boat on their hitch. The next morning I went to take the trash out as it was asked in the agreement and there were no bins outside so I asked Dan where I was to put the trash and I had to drive it over to the parking area and put it in the dumpster ourselves. After a weekend with many guest the last thing I wanted was to fit trash in my loaded car and drive back through were I was screamed at. I am not sure why Dan didn’t put the trash bins out when our check out time came and grab them with his golf cart that he drove all over the day before with the amount you pay to use the house

Our Family has vacationed in the 1000 island region for over 40 years and we purchased this vacation home in 2014. We are very grateful for numerous reasons. The area views are breathtaking, fishing is incredible and time with our family is precious. Whatever your activity is to spend quality time, tour the region or just relax, this is a true home away from home.

But the river is much more than a view it is for swimming, fishing, boating and water sports. This rental has a dock included to accommodate a 25' boat and just down the street there is a boat ramp. The cottage offers heat, a/c, full kitchen, 3 bedrooms and 2 full baths.
