Superb property, amazing host

Excellent experience. Cottage is beautiful and well stocked and maintained. Garden is stunning and so well kept, all the plants are labelled. Kitchen very well outfitted, everything you need. Little garden house holds bbq, bikes, beach shades etc. No pool, but you know that and there are beautiful black sand beaches near. (try playa San marcos and playa des arenas at Buenavista). Walking distance to a few good restaurants and short drive or bus ride to others. Only drawback (sorry have to mention) is the busy road near which is a little noisy. You are private and safe but can hear it in the morning especially. Pablo is the perfect host, knows everyone and everything in the area, can recommend restaurant or arrange an airport transfer. The area is beautiful and quite different from the south of the island. We had a lovely 3 weeks there and are relaxed and tanned because of it. Would recommend.

Der Aufenthalt war angenehm. Nicht so angenehm war die laute Straße, die direkt hinter dem Haus entlangführt, und auch die Gärtnerin, die drei Mal während unseres Aufenthaltes mittelmäßig gelaunt unsere Privatsphäre gestört hat, war kein Surplus.

Super Ferienhaus

In diesem Ferienhaus kann man wirklich seinen Urlaub genießen! Es ist alles da, was man braucht, drinnen wie draußen. Das Haus ist sehr schön eingerichtet, es fehlt an nichts, man fühlt sich direkt wie zu Hause! Die Lage ist einfach fantastisch, inmitten einer Bananenplantage mit Blick auf Berge und Meer!Ein super gepflegter Garten lädt zum Relaxen ein. Pablo ist ein hervorragender Gastgeber, die Verständigung klappte immer sehr gut. Es gibt da wirklich nichts zu kritisieren! Wir werden gerne wiederkommen!

Tolles Haus

Sehr gut eingerichtetes und ausgestattetes Ferienhaus, in dem wir uns sehr wohl gefühlt haben. Guter Ausgangspunkt für Unternehmungen. Wie schon erwähnt ist die Straße oberhalb des Hauses laut, deshalb gibt es keine absolute Ruhe, aber wir werden gern wiederkommen, wenn es uns nochmal nach Teneriffa verschlägt. Pablo ist ein sehr aufmerksamer Vermieter und immer ansprechbar.

Schöner Urlaub

Wir haben zwei wunderbare Wochen in dem apparten und charaktervollen Haus von Pablo verbracht. Das Häuschen ist mit viel Liebe und Geschmack eingerichtet, hat einen schönen Garten und bietet inmitten der Bananenplantagen einen tollen Blick auf das Meer. Pablo ist ein prima Gastgeber.

Petit paradis

Maison très agréable au coeur d une bananeraie dans une ambiance tropicale. Confort excellent, petites attentions très appréciées. On s'y est senti chez nous tout de suite. Jardin propice à la flânerie. Un paradis également pour des randonnées très aériennes, vue époustouflante. Un véritable coup de cœur pour ces premiers pas sur l'île.

Stilvolles Ferienhaus in der Bananenplantage

Guter Ausgangspunkt um Wanderungen im Teno Gebirge und der Nordwest Seite der Insel zu unternehmen. Vom Ferienhaus durch die Gassen der Bananenplantagen und an der Küste entlang zum Leuchtturm nach Buenavista del Norte und zurück ist auch eine zu empfehlende Strecke für Laufsportler. Das Ferienhaus mit Terrasse und der kleine gepflegte Garten sind mit allem Notwendigen ausgestattet. Etwas störend ist die oberhalb verlaufende Straße die teilweise frühmorgens viel befahren ist. Es war eine gute Zeit zu dieser „etwas anderen“ Zeit.

Pablo ist ein Vermieter wie man ihn sich wünscht und sein Haus hat uns beide absolut befriedigt.

Klasse Unterkunft mit 2 Schlafzimmern mit 2 Bädern (en suite). Für Wanderer der ideale Ausgangspunkt. Man ist schnell im Tenogebirge, schnell in der Ananga/Masca-Ecke und am Teide sowieso. Los Silos ist ein kleines, ruhiges Städtchen und trotz der Lage im grünen Norden nahe genug am Meer um den Passatwolken zu entkommen - wir hatten hier jeden Tag bestes, sonniges Wetter. Und - sehr zu empfehlen - die Bar "La Luz" nur 5 Minuten zu Fuss vom Haus aus entfernt. Hier kann man herrlich Frühstücken bei frisch gepresstem Orangensaft, 1/2 Cortados und warmen Tortillas, einfach genial. Und überall freundliche Menschen. Wer sich lieber bei Massentourismus und allabendlichem Rambozambo wohlfühlt der hat hier nichts zu suchen. Und nochmal, der Vermieter ist super.

Une très jolie maison

Nous sommes très satisfait de notre séjour. A notre arrivée, tout a été fait pour faciliter notre prise des lieux. Présentation d'une très jolie maison, parfaitement équipée et décorée avec beaucoup de goût. Présentation de documents à caractère touristique , magasins, restaurants, cartes... Le contact avec le propriétaire a été très chaleureux, du plaisir! J'espère que nous reviendrons.

Tolle Einrichtung, weiter positiv war Ausstattung - es ist eigentlich alles da - sowie der schöne Garten! Für uns alles perfekt, was hier ja schon beschrieben wurde ist die nahe gelegene Straße, die man natürlich hört - im Garten und im vorderen Teil des Hauses stört es aber nicht, absolute Ruhe hat man nicht.

Sehr schöne Villa in günstiger Lage im Norden

Eigentlich verdient die Unterkunft volle Anerkennung. Will man aber den gesamten Aufenthalt auf Teneriffa bewerten gibt es Abstriche. Wir waren vor ca. 40 Jahren das erste mal auf dieser Insel. Ein Schock was sich besonders im Süden getan hat. Will man die Natur und Ursprünglichkeit erleben (zumindest was noch vorhanden ist) ist man mit dieser Villa richtig beraten. Sie liegt zentral in der Mitte und man kommt gut überall mit dem Auto hin. Das Haus ist TOP, schön eingerichtet, es fehlt an nichts, super Betreuung, ein gepflegter Garten. Zumindest hier waren wir voll zufrieden. Jetzt kommt es natürlich darauf an, was man auf Teneriffa erleben will. Legt man Wert auf Landschaft, Natur und Inselidylle ist der Norden genau richtig. Der Süden war für uns ein Fiasko. Allerdings gibt es auch im Norden Einschränkungen. Parkplätze in den Städten Fehlanzeige. Hohes Verkehrsaufkommen. Die Insel ist zwischenzeitlich verbaut und überbevölkert. Doch es gibt noch Lichblicke und die sollte man sich vorknöpfen: Teno und Anaga-Gebirge, natürlich der Teide-Nationalpark, vor allem die Höhenstraße von La Laguna bis zum Teide-Nationalpark, Orte wie Garachico, die Küste von El Sauzal, der Sonntagsmarkt gleich nebenan in Los Silos. Wenn man zur richtigen Zeit dort ist, eine "Romeria" z.B. in La Ortava. Die Töpferwerkstatt in Arguayo. Übrigends noch eine Restaurantempfehlung (vom Besitzer): gleich in der Nähe in La Caleta, das Restaurant "El Mundial 82". Die Fischplatte sagenhaft und insgesamt preiswert. Es gibt also noch lohnenswerte Ziele auf Teneriffa. Man muß sich nur auf die Suche machen, dann kann man auch hier noch einen schönen Urlaub erleben.

Tolles Haus an leider stark befahrener Straße

Das Haus ist ein Traum: es fehlt an nichts: Küche sehr gut eingerichtet, frisches Obst auf dem Tisch, ein paar Gewürze sind vorhanden, Elektrogeräte funktionieren, Betten bequem mit genug Kissen, Kuscheldecke im Wohnraum für kalte Abende, auch im Bad alles da. Genug Ablagefläche. Sogar ein Tischchen zum Puzzeln. Es gibt zwei Fahrräder mit Helmen und Schlössern, um in den Ort rein zu radeln. Auch der Vermieter ist freundlich und zuverlässig. Aber: das Haus liegt direkt an einer v. a. am frühen Morgen sehr stark befahrenen Straße, wir kamen uns vor wie auf einem Parkplatz einer Autobahn. Das schmälerte unseren Genuss leider ziemlich. Leider ist das Meerwasser-Schwimmbad am Puertito von Los Silos gerade wegen Reparatur geschlossen; so mussten wir zum Baden immer recht weit fahren. Auch das leider suboptimal.

Very spacious and well equipped

Lovely property, very large main bedroom with 2 large bathrooms, and adequate twin bedroom. (The en-suite is open plan to the main bedroom but with a partition wall). Also good sized sitting room. Only problem was the weather all week (end of March) so couldnt enjoy the sun beds as hoped. Separate shed with washing machine and bikes.

Le coin s'avère attachant parce que non touristique. Les propriétaires se sont mis à la place des vacanciers . Agrément, maison et jardin entretenus soigneusement. Les deux VTT sont bien pratiques pour les ballades vers le bord de mer en contrebas ou pour aller prendre un verre sur la place du village de Los Silos. Accueil et disponibilité irréprochables. Le tout à un prix raisonnable; alors on dit merci.

Excellent holiday home

One of the most thoughtfully furnished and equipped holidays homes I have stayed in. There seems to be nothing that has not been thought of. The location is excellent for Los Silos and very well situated for travel to any other of the lovely coastal or mountain villages. The bus to Puerto de la Cruz stops right outside the property or there is secure off road parking for a car. The only slight downsides are background traffic noise (but we got used to that over the course of our week’s stay) and open plan toilet arrangements . Highly recommended.

Early December Break in a Superb Villa and Location

The villa had everything we needed and was immaculately presented . Very clean and welcoming. Great location being very quiet but close enough to Los SIlos for an easy walk into the village for dinner . Los SIlos itself has several good restaurants offering good local food at great value for money . Nice to be in a location that is not “touristy”. Stunning scenery along the coast and inland . Thomas, the owner , was very welcoming , helpful and friendly . No hesitation in recommending Villa La Gomera.

Wunderschönes Haus in einer tollen Lage !!!

Wir durften 10 Tage in diesem wunderschön eingerichteten, sehr sauberen Haus verbringen. Für 3 Erwachsene ideal - 2 Schlafzimmer mit je einem Bad - zwischen den Bädern eine Zwischentür, aber das 2. Schlafzimmer hat ein Tür nach draußen mit eigenem Schlüssel. Küchenmässig fehlte aber auch gar nichts - alles vorhanden ! Sehr gemütliches Wohnzimmer - das ganze Haus ist sehr geschmackvoll eingerichtet ! Die Terrasse und der kleine Garten wunderschön mit Blick über die Bananenplantagen zum Atlantik - auf der anderen Seite die grünen Berge ! Wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt und hatten mit dem Besitzer Pablo einen netten und kompetenten Ansprechpartner. Zum Essen gehen absolut empfehlenswert das Restaurant Mundial 82 im benachbartem Caleta de Interior - die Fischplatte ist einfach spitze. Wir würden jederzeit wieder kommen !

Wieder ein toller Aufenthalt!

Die Villa "La Gomera" ist ein idealer Ausgangspunkt, um den touristisch weniger erschlossenen Norden Teneriffas zu erkunden. Das Haus selbst ist äußerst gepflegt, und sehr liebevoll eingerichtet. Im Garten, der alle zwei Tage gewässert wird, steht ein kleines Haus mit Grill, Waschmaschine, Fahrrädern und Bügeleisen! Es fehlt wirklich nichts, und alles funktioniert einwandfrei. Die sehr zuvorkommenden Vermieter wohnen nur einen Steinwurf entfernt, und sind bei Fragen immer erreichbar. Wir sind bereits zum zweiten Mal in dem Haus gewesen, und werden sicher wiederkommen. Wer in den Nordwesten fährt, sollte nicht überrascht sein, wenn es auch mal ein wenig bedeckt ist. Der Passat weht die Wolken aus genau der Richtung an, und diese bleiben dann hin und wieder an den Bergen hängen. Da ohnehin ein Auto benötigt wird, sind dies ideale Ausflugstage, an denen man der Sonne ja hinterherfahren kann. Die Villa liegt nur wenige Kilometer vom Städtchen Garachico entfernt, das viele für den schönsten Ort Teneriffas halten. Wir teilen diese Ansicht. Als Restaurant-Empfehlung möchten wir das "El Mundial 82" in La Caleta geben. Hier sitzt man bei gutem Essen mit Blick auf die Klippen. Auch das "La Perla" und das "Arestides" in Garachico sind sehr zu empfehlen.

Wonderful holiday

We had the most wonderful holiday staying in this lovely house. We had everything we needed to enjoy ourselves with our two young children, and we didn't have to worry about their safety either as it's all enclosed. We liked having the pool nearby that we could use, but we also loved swimming in the rockpools in Garachico and going to the beach. We had fun biking around the immediate area using the bikes provided, and just enjoyed sitting in the lovely garden relaxing. The house and garden are just as nice as they look in the photos! Thank you for the lovely holiday - I've already recommended the house to the rest of my family!

Sehr zu empfehlen

Dies ist ein sehr schönes, super ausgestattetes, sauberes Ferienhaus in dem wir uns jeden Tag wohl fühlten. Vorbereitung und Betreuung der Vermieter waren ausgezeichnet, der Kontakt überaus freundlich und persönlich. Das Domiziel ist bester Ausgangspunkt um die schöne Insel zu erkunden, viele Sehenswürdigkeiten wie Garachico, Icod de Los Vinos, La Orotava, Loro Park... sind mit dem Auto schnell zu erreichen. Besonders empfehlenswert ist das Restaurant El Patio de Interian im Nachbarort La Calleta, dort erlebten wir die besondere, stilvolle kanarische Küche bei sehr freundlicher, persönlicher Bedienung.
