Cottage is located just a few blocks from the old downtown Flagstaff in a quiet neighborhood. Great for walking in and enjoying the restaurants. Especially enjoyed the SoSoBa noodles. The cottage was a great base for exploring the area e.g. Grand Canyon, Sedona, and Wupakti.
A fantastic house in a great location!
John is a wonderful host and the house is great! This was our 2nd stay and we will certainly stay again. Great location and very comfortable!
Loved having walking access to downtown!
The property was clean and well taken care of. Private drive for parking and all the amenities of home. Walking distance to shops and restaurants. We loved our stay!
Quiet, comfortable, clean and close to everything in historic downtown Flagstaff.
Quiet, walking distance to many great restaurants, lovely wooded area. Host responsive
The best thing about this place is the location. Easy walk to the old town part of Flagstaff. Everything was as advertised. It's an old house with an addition. The gas fireplace did a great job keeping us warm. The kitchen has the basics and the only down side is it's on the small side.
The fireplace serves as the furnace, so be extra careful if you are there with little children--touching the fireplace will burn.
Downtown is close and Fry's grocery store is within about a 10 minute drive.
John was very quick to respond. Answered all my questions.
It's winter and there was a storm with freezing rain and snow or last day there. It got colder leading up to that. because it is an older house the floors seemed well insulated. I walked around barefoot with the thermastat set at 66 and did not get cold feet.
It's not a fancy place, but it was clean and had all the basics in a very convenient location.
Second time staying in this cottage and can't imagine staying anywhere else in Flagstaff. Close enough to walk to the restaurants and bars which is what we did each day. Kitchen stocked nicely, but could have used some wine glasses. We drank our wine out of coffee mugs. We will definitely return!
This is the ultimate 'jumping off' place to see all Flagstaff and the surrounding area has to offer!
