This beautiful historic house has two bedrooms with one bathroom, a large covered front porch, and a fenced in back yard. There is a nice large living room with a gas fireplace and large windows when you enter the front door, a bedroom on the right with two twin beds, a formal dining room with a dining table, and in the back left portion of the house is another bedroom with a queen bed and a large closet with built in shelving. Located in the back right of the house is the kitchen, equipped with anything you should need to cook or bake. Just behind the kitchen is the laundry/sunroom that exits into the back yard. The laundry room has both a washer and a dryer and ample room for storage. The back yard has a nice flagstone patio and the rest is grass. There is an old shed in the back as well, but is not included in the rental. The front yard has beautiful landscaping with a lush green lawn underneath two wonderful maple trees that keep things shaded from the hot summer sun.

About Mark Giovale
This is my second vacation rental that I've set up. The other property has worked out so well that I am doing it again... I really enjoy taking care of these older historic homes and having people enjoy them. I grew up in Flagstaff and am now raising my family here and enjoy spending time working on these houses. I grew up within a mile of this location and went to school at Flagstaff High school located just a few blocks away. After high school I went on to the university of Denver to get a degree in mechanical engineering. I moved back to town and worked for Gore for a number of years before striking off on my own and doing vacation rentals.

Front yard and porch great!
Wonderful month in Flagstaff. Really easy to walk downtown, and back yard great for the dogs. I would recommend new remote for VCR, and possibly a ceiling fan in master bedroom when it heats up in the summer.
Beautiful property within steps of downtown
What a lovely house! We were so impressed with the communication and directions to everything we received before we arrived, then with the lovely, very well stocked home. It was so quiet, yet we were within several blocks (read walking distance!) from the downtown area.
The house is a beautiful craftsman style home and tastefully decorated. There is a nice big tv with DVD and VCR with a collection of movies to watch. It has an electronic lock on the door, so our late arrival posed no problems at all. The only thing we should have done is asked for a porch light to be left on for our arrival.
The kitchen has a great coffee maker (so bring your favorite blend) and has plenty of pots, pans, utensils and serving ware for most things you might want to make. The bathroom is very fresh and updated, and the entire house is very clean.
One thing should be noted, and neither is a problem, just a comment for people looking for a place to stay: there are a couple of places where the floor is slightly sloped. I say this for people who might have mobility issues. I would have been a little nervous had I brought my father, who uses a walker. It is very minor, but noticeable.
Finally, the proprietor asks for a text when you leave. I sent a text when we locked the door to leave, and did not receive a reply, so was a little concerned that it wasn't received.
We will definitely stay here again should we return to Flagstaff.
Walking distance to the wonderful restaurants and coffee shops in town!
Excellent location. We walked to breakfast and dinner each day. Beautiful neighborhood.
But property was fantastic!
My wife and I spent a weekend during and following a snowstorm in Flagstaff at this property. The property was immaculate upon our arrival and we enjoyed our stay, both indoors and outdoors. Our two puppies, both born and raised in Phoenix, were daunted by the 4-5 inches of snow in the backyard, at 1st, but were romping all over the backyard by the 2nd day.
We would not hesitate to return to Mark's property in the future.
Cozy Home in Great Location
We really enjoyed our stay at this property, and it was even better that we could bring our fur children along :) It was the perfect location for us to walk into town (8 minutes) and do a day visit to the Grand Canyon (1 & 1/2 hour drive). Mark was accommodating when we had to change our scheduled visit to a different weekend. He was very responsive and easy to communicate with. I would definitely stay here again!
Nice Historic Bungalow, Great Location
Easy walk to restaurants and shops. Clean home with historic charm.
This historic house is located in the heart of old town Flagstaff, within easy walking distance to shops, restaurants, and bars. Wheeler park is also very close and hosts many festivals. Leroux is a quiet street very close to the downtown area. The area is coveted by locals because of its location.
