The Groves vacation rentals

Instructions to access the flat were clear and easy. Having a parking space in a gated area was great. Clean and comfy flat in a quiet area. Easy walk into the town. Would stay again.

I'm in York for business every two weeks and stay in hotels, on this occasion for a change I decided to stay for 2 nights in this magnificent and well presented house, the hosts were absolutely great and location of the property was perfect to get around York City Centre.

Excellent house, so warm and cosy. Super clean and beautifully decorated . Really welcoming, even provides milk and other litttlw extras . Landlord is so helpful and has thought of everything ! 5star , would highly recccoend

Very nice accommodation. Superb location for visiting York as a tourist. We would book this unit again if we were in the area.

My mom, uncle, and I stayed in this flat for two nights while vacationing in York. We absolutely loved the flat. It was so close to the city center, but also a couple of minutes outside of everything going on. The flat was immaculate and well-stocked with things you'll need while on vacation. We loved that there was a welcome package for us of bread, butter, biscuits, coffee, and tea. The flat is fully stocked in the kitchen and there is a washer/dryer machine (and even a towel warmer in the bathroom). Peter was so accommodating--we needed to drop our bags off early and he met us and we were able to do so even though it wasn't time to check in yet. We would absolutely stay here again!! The only two things that could use slight improvement: 1) the mattresses were fairly uncomfortable (you can feel the springs through the mattress) and 2) I tried to dry my clothes on a hanging rack inside the bedroom with the door to the garden--it was a little too humid in there so my clothes didn't dry, so perhaps try to do so in a different room. These issues were very minor and we wouldn't hesitate to book this space again.

What a refreshing change to find an accommodation with no negatives! The apartment was scrupulously clean and very well appointed. The bed was comfortable, the shower was superb, hot and powerful and the welcome pack was indeed very welcome, thank you The surroundings were very quiet with lots of greenery and trees but within flat, easy walking distance to the city. The kitchen contained everything you would need and to have a washer dryer was a real bonus so we could do our washing the night before we left. Bliss All in all I wouldn't hesitate in recommending 6 St. John's Mews as a base to stay when in York

Perfect stay, a party of 2 adults and 2 children. Could not fault anything, will be returning!!!!!!!
