UPDATE 4/1/15 - REMODEL COMPLETE. Luna Seas was extensively remodeled in 2015 in tasteful, classic beach decor.

We have a STRICT 25yr+ policy and no pet policy. The reservation must be made by someone 25 years of age or older and that person must stay on premises for the duration of the booking. No exceptions will be allowed to either the 25+ or pet policy.

We have owned property and vacationed in Gulf Shores since 1986. We chose Gulf Shores over several other destinations due to its peaceful atmosphere and beautiful, relatively uncrowded beaches. We live a short drive away and still visit Gulf Shores often, so we remain in good contact with our properties to insure they are in proper condition.

The home is very quiet and relaxing. Loved the quick access to the beach right there in the backyard! Swimming in the ocean was a delight as well as walks down the beach. A very rejuvenating vacation.

Great family beach trip!

Really enjoyed our stay at Luna Sea. Owner was very responsive and accommodating. House is perfectly situated on the beach and even had some floats available to use. House was clean and as pictured -- would recommend!

Beautiful home, great location

We stayed at Luna for a family vacation. We absolutely loved it. The house was perfect for our all 11 of us in it. The beach is just foot steps away, the morning and evening views are amazing. We loved sitting on the deck watching storms over the ocean.. We loved how we were away from the populated area, but close enough to enjoy it every day. We stayed over 4th July and we just put chairs out on the beach and could watch the pier fireworks without leaving the house The house had everything we needed and very clean and updated. We would defiantly stay here again.

Very nice home at an excellent location.

Very nice house away from the most populated/tourist spots. Very comfortable for a family of five or six. I would suggest including some additional supplies so the renter doesn't have to shop for them (shampoo, soap, laundry detergent, dishwasher detergent, paper towels, garbage bags, toilet paper, beach towels, beach items, etc.). It's impractical to pack many of these things on an airplane so you have to go shopping when you arrive. Overall a very nice experience.

Owner's Response: Thank you for the review, Andrew. As the season progresses, many of those items are left in the house for use by guests. We will try to keep a better eye on some of the necessities to see if we can help provide a better experience for our guests.

Great location, space, beach and amenities

We stayed at this property during Thanksgiving week. The open family room and kitchen was comfortable, spacious, nicely decorated and well equipped. The overall interior was clean, well-maintained and up-to-date. Great location on an expansive white sand beach that is far away from public access that the beach in front is not overcrowded. The kitchen has all the appliances, pots and pans, utensils, etc. to make a full Thanksgiving dinner. Our family enjoyed this place and would rent it again. Owner was attentive and responsive to our questions and needs. The only issue pertains to the stairs and deck. I’d suggest retacking down a couple loose steps and some of the decking.

Owner's Response: Thank you for your honest review, Jennifer. As part of our end-of-the-season maintenance, we typically do things like securing deck boards, checking remotes on TV's, changing lightbulbs, checking sheets, checking kitchen items, etc. We did secure several loose steps in December and the deck is good to go for another season. I hope you'll consider us again when you travel back to the AL Gulf Coast.

7 night minimum is required during Peak Season (Spring Break through early August). All non-peak bookings require a 3 night minimum.
Rates subject to change until booking is confirmed and deposit paid.

ALL BOOKINGS must have the booking adult 25yrs+ present at check-in to pick up keys. This adult must remain on property for the duration of the booking. NO EXCEPTIONS. Guests found in violation will be asked to leave immediately with no refunds.

Owner's Cancellation Policy

  • 50% refund if canceled at least 14 days before arrival date.
  • 100% refund if canceled at least 30 days before arrival date.
  • Service Fee fully refunded on cancellations that qualify for 100% refund.
