It has all the amenities and conveniences you'd expect for your vacation - granite counter-tops, new flooring throughout, washer/dryer, LCD TV's, DVD, two decks!, porch swing for lazy afternoons, picnic table. Play in the sand and surf all day with the convenience of having your house steps away. Six Seas is located 0.2 miles from the nearest condominium, insuring your stay there to be free of crowded beaches and ongoing beach traffic. Loved this beach house!

Great vacation! So quiet and relaxing! Away from hustle and bustle, but still very convenient to restaurants and grocery stores! Will definitely come back!!

The house itself was the perfect size for our family of 10! But the air conditioner was out for the first three nights of our stay and it was 90 degrees in there so no one could rest or shower or eat without dripping in sweat! The owner did reimburse some money after a few phone calls and text! We showed up Saturday afternoon and it wasnt fixed until Tuesday around noon! So we only enjoyed about half of our vacation! There needs to be a couple more bigger skillets to cook with a more spatulas! But other than that the house itself was beautiful!

3 generation beach trip

We had a wonderful vacation at this property! It’s so nice to stay right on the beach with young kids. The layout of the house was perfect for our 3 families. We really appreciated the beach chairs and toys that were available at the house!

Family Vacation

The Six Seas beach house was a wonderful home right on the beach. Our family was very pleased with our stay and had a great vacation. My grandchildren did not want to leave. The response time of management was very quick with the WiFi which just needed reset due to storms the previous week. If you stay in Gulf Shores go check out the local grocery store Rouses it is amazing. The fresh seafood is delicious and great prices. Wonderful family time and memories made!!!!

Great Home!

We had such a lovely week here! It was our favorite beach vacation ever. The house is the perfect size and felt very homey. We were apparently very fortunate that the lady next door was gone, so no issues there.

Nice beachfront location

We really enjoyed our stay at Six Seas. Even though we visited during spring break, the beach near the house was very lightly populated. The house was beautiful and the kitchen was very well equipped. The beach chairs and umbrellas were also appreciated. A great location to enjoy a great beach away from the crowds, highly recommended.

Two Family Vacation

This was our second time to stay at this wonderful property. The layout of the house worked perfectly for our 2 families consisting of 9 people. The home contained everything that we needed from cooking, grilling, and even outdoor items for the kids to use at the beach. We will definitely be back for another stay in a few years.

Excellent Vacation

Our family really enjoyed the house and its location. The children could not wait to play on the beach and wade in the water. My wife and I really appreciated the privacy and deck upstairs. All in all it was a fun week.

Family Getaway

We had a great stay! A sea turtle nest was located on the beach during our stay about 3 houses down. The eggs were laid on June 5th and have roughly a 55 Day incubation period. Be on the lookout for hatchlings if you are there during that time.

Family Vacation

My sister and I rented this house for a joint family vacation and had a great time. Everything was as promised on the website and we were pleasantly surprised that the house seemed to be larger than it seemed in the pictures. We had 9 people, 7 adults and 2 children and there was plenty of room for us all. The beach was wonderful and restaurants close by though we never wanted to leave the beach house. Everything was clean and well maintained and tastefully decorated.

Best annual family trip

The house was exactly as described. It had everything we needed. Huge master suite with master balcony that had the most amazing views. We saw countless dolphins every single day. The bottom floor layout was spacious and cozy for our family and kids. We really appreciated the large closets in the 3 main rooms. No need to bring any toys or boogie boards because there were TONS in the storage room downstairs. We even left ours there to add to it. I think our family favorite was how close the house is to the water. We ran back and forth all day long so being that close is now a must for us. Blake was amazing and we are already ready for next year.

Beware of the neighbors

After reading reviews, our family was very excited to experience this home. The beach and the home were nice, however we will not be staying here again. The neighbors to the right are horrible. Nonstop harassment and accusations for things we had nothing to do with. I will not go into detail because not worth repeating the ridiculousness. It is evident they don’t want non locals staying near them. I truly feel bad for the owners of this property because not sure if there is anything that can be done. If you do stay here, stay away from them and try to avoid contact at all costs, truly miserable people determined to spread their misery onto vacation goers.

Beautiful location.

The location of this home is key!! Walking right out the back door (over a hill) to the beach was amazing for us and the kids. My only complaint was that the home could use some cosmetic updates, and I do not recommend staying here if you have anyone that isn’t able to walk up and down a sand dune hill. The walk to the beach is up a hill and down a hill and my mother in law had a difficult time walking it. The entire time we were there the TV’s didn’t work in any of the rooms (which we didn’t report to owner because it wasn’t that important to us) I’m sure if we did they would have quickly fixed it. The owners were great to work with and were quick to respond. There was a abundance of sand toys for the kids which was great! The Karen next door called the cops once which was because she seen our kids on her camera on “her beach”. The cops were nice and very familiar with her. Overall I would stay here again with just ourselves and the kids. I wouldn’t recommend anyone with disabilities or elderly staying due to the haul over the hill to the beach. We really appreciate everything and had a great vacation!

Dreamy Vacation

We spent a wonderful week in Six Seas. The property itself was wonderful. The layout of the home was perfect for our group, though it would’ve been nice to have an additional half bath downstairs. The home was stocked with plenty of bath linens and the room on the floor level was overflowing with beach toys. However, the kitchen could use a little work. It supplies the absolute bare bones when it comes to knives, utensils, pots, pans, etc. Overall, we had a lovely week. We saw stingray, dolphins, a couple small sharks, tons of crabs, and fish. Oh yeah, and shell hunting was phenomenal! We came home with several intact grapefruit-sized shells. The only “warning” I would offer is, the neighbor in the blue house is over the top. She screamed profanities at a 13yo child for stepping across the property line on the beachside to retrieve a ball. Days later she “caught” my child on one of her many cameras retrieving his frisbee that was thrown badly and landed 4 feet onto the beach-side of her property. She contacted the police. When the officer arrived we admitted our guilt, he brushed it off and told us she called them constantly with complaints. Then finished by telling us if our frisbee accidentally goes over again, to retrieve it. In short, educate yourself on the local laws/ordinances cause she despises tourists and will be policing you at all times.

Good location, house needs work

First the good: The location is great and the beach is very quiet. Plenty of stuff nearby. Overall the house was clean. The not so good: Upon arrival we got the key out of the lockbox. The check-in instructions noted it can be tricky to get the key, but we got it out no problem. Could never get it back in and closed. A few days before checking out I reached out to the property manager asking what we should do and no response. I also never got a response on a message I sent right after booking. We never heard from him once. Additionally, this house needs some safety updating. The stairs in the house are such a hazard. There is no way they are to code and I was a nervous wreck with the kids sleeping upstairs going up and down them. We also kept tripping over the bottom step as it sticks out very far. All of the steps are different sizes and shapes. The deck also had several nails sticking up and the rail to walk down to the beach and carport is very splintery so we couldn't hold the rail! Outdoor furniture was broken and not nearly enough seating for 12 guests. Wooden benches aren't suitable for sitting on...also splintery. And maybe the biggest complaint - the boardwalk in all the photos DOES NOT BELONG TO THIS HOUSE. You have to walk over a pretty steep sand dune and would be a problem for elderly or those with mobility issues. The reviews said the kitchen is stocked but I would say if you plan to cook a lot, that's not accurate. Bring stuff from home.

Great home, wonderful location; neighbor is a minor blemish

My family and I recently stayed at the Six Seas property and had a wonderful time. The short walk over the dune opens to a beautiful section of the gulf that is perfect for children and family members of all ages. There is a large section of soft, white sand before reaching the high-tide line that gives the option for lounging/playing even when the surf is too choppy for young children. The property is just a few short miles from the center of Gulf Shores, but far enough out to avoid any crowds. There were many mornings/evenings that we had what seemed like the entire beach to ourselves. We saw dolphins, stingrays, a variety of fish, and many crabs. The home was well-stocked with any kitchen utensil and appliance that one could reasonably need during a vacation. The washer/dryer was a great option to keep us from having to over-pack. There was a full selection of beach toys left from previous visitors, so if you don't want to pack or purchase buckets and other sandcastle items, you will have plenty to choose from. Prior to our stay, I read the reviews concerning the neighbor to the west. However, I was confident enough in my family to know they would follow the rules and regulations of the beach, such as staying away from the protective dunes, and avoiding the property line (which is clearly marked by the neighbor). We stayed seven nights at Six Seas, and I saw the neighbor two times in that span of time. I personally had no issue or interaction with the neighbor. Unfortunately, I cannot say the same for my sister-in-law and her husband and children. They were in the water and playing within the boundary of the high-tide line when the neighbor approached the beach yelling obscenities at them. The neighbor claimed they were “ruining her view” and that they were “on her beach.” She called my in-laws multiple curse words, including the 9, 5, and 3-year-old children that were swimming in the water at the time. My entire group did everything possible to avoid the neighbor’s wrath, but she still found it necessary to cuss a family that was simply enjoying the gulf. The laws in that area state property owners own to the "mean high-tide line." It seems the neighbor is simply ignorant of where that line is established, or she is too entitled to accept the public nature of the high-tide line. She also seems unable to approach simple interactions in a reasonable and civil manner. It didn't ruin our vacation, but it put a blemish on the final beach outing.

Good Value

This beach house is a good value for the price. If you just want a comfortable and clean place with a great location, this is the one for you. If you are looking for a well stocked kitchen and great bathrooms, you probably need to pay more to get that. Overall, we had a great time and would recommend this place as a budget friendly option.

We have owned property and vacationed in Gulf Shores since 1986. We chose Gulf Shores over several other destinations due to its peaceful atmosphere and beautiful, relatively uncrowded beaches. We live a short drive away and still visit Gulf Shores often, so we remain in good contact with our properties to insure they are in proper condition.
