Tropical & Romantic Jaco Beach Condo

Macaws Ocean Club Seventeen is a luxury condo and the perfect location for your exploration of Costa Rica's beaches, Tropical Rain Forests, and don't miss a trip to the hot springs and waterfalls that surround the Volcanoes of Costa Rica. We are located on the preferred south end of Jaco beach. Let the waves of the Pacific Ocean splash at your feet as you walk 15 minutes up the beach to explore the many shops and restaurants in the thriving downtown section of Jaco. After your day of adventure, make sure to relax with a drink around the pool, before heading out to the beach to watch the most amazing sunsets over the Pacific ocean, marking yet another perfect day in Paradise!!

Accommodations:

Our home has 2 bedrooms, 3 full bathrooms, a fully equipped kitchen, vaulted ceilings, and is decorated and totally furnished to the highest level. The master bedroom comes with a romantic four-poster queen size bed, 2 dressers, 43" LCD Tv, Ac, ceiling fan, and a very large private en suite bathroom. The guest bedroom is furnished with a full size bed, 24" LCD Tv, Ac, ceiling fan, full armoire, dresser and its own en suite bathroom as well. The great room is furnished with a Wi-Fi, cable connected 55" google Smart Tv, new couch and rattan chair, Dining Room, Ac, twin ceiling fans and many other high-end finishes. A full hall bathroom is adjoining the great room as well. The fully equipped kitchen features granite counters with a sit down bar and is furnished with Shaker Cabinets, and full size GE appliances. A full size washer/dryer, sink and cabinet storage are located in the laundry room just off the kitchen. A private Lanai located off the great/dining room area overlooks the pool and tropically landscaped courtyard. A manicured walk behind our building provides your private gated and lighted access to the beach.

South Beach Jaco

Macaws was a great place to stay. The south end of the beach is quite, however many places to sip on some drinks, watch the surfers and enjoy the great sun sets. Pura Vida all the way.

Beautiful condo, very quiet, nice pool short walk to beautiful beach. Close to town, only a couple dollars by cab. So sad we had to leave early due to covid-19.

Great beach access (no view), nice condo, great owners

First of all, there is no beach view from the condo. The picture from the master must be several years old before the trees grew quite a bit. That being said, we got over it really quickly because the beach is so close and convenient to walk to in about 3 minutes. The owners were great and responded to our questions very quickly. The condo is very nice and well equipped. The part of Jaco it is in it's a very short and convenient drive to all the attractions, but it is nicely isolated at the south end of town so you are not right in the hustle and bustle when you want to relax. We had a great stay and would certainly come back.

Great Condo, Great Location

Overall my wife and 3 kids, ages 17,18,12 yrs old and I all had a great time and enjoyed the Macow Ocean Club condos. The unit is very modern and in a very secure location because it is a gated property. Not that the surrounding area is unsafe but the gated location just adds another layer of security for an added piece of mind. The pool is nice and the ocean is only about a 3 min walk out of the back of the property. On the trail to the ocean, you will pass many lizards who make the area their home. It is like having your own little nature trail. We find that the south end of Jaco beach, where the condo is located, is the best part of Jaco Beach. It is much quieter with fewer people than the part of the beach that is near the center of town. The farther you walk to the north end you also start to see rocks all over the beach unlike the south that has no rocks. Much softer on your feet at the south end near the condo. There is also a surf shops set up to give surf lessons right on the beach by the condo. We use The Surf Factory for lessons and board rentals. You can't beat $10 a day to rent a surf board. I think lessons were $90 for 2 people for 2 hours. The owner of The Surf Factory is from south Texas and has been building his business for the past 5 years. A good guy who speaks both English and Spanish. Back to the Condo, it has everything you need and then some. If you have it at home, I'm sure it's also in the condo. Having 3 bathrooms is nice. The only thing the condo does not really have is a genuine view of the ocean. When it was first built it probably did but all the trees have grown up and have all but obscured the ocean view. But don't let that stop you from staying here. Every balcony over looks the pool for people watching and socializing with others if you so desire. Bottom line.....Great place to stay and we would do it again.
