Great apartment near everything
We loved the apartment, it was so close to everything. The apartment was bright, clean and very cool
Great location, just a short walk down the street to the colosseum. Some really good food near by
Mariangela is such a wonderful and delightful lady to work with. See made the experience great.
This unit is spotless and couldn’t be in a better location. The owner is super friendly and helpful. Also the beds are comfortable huge plus!!
Brilliant location, lovely flat
Great location, large comfortable bed and a warm and friendly host.
Fantastic base for exploring Rome
Another positive review!
Mariangela and her husband were easy to reach and keen to make sure we had everything we needed.
The apartment is as advertised and according to the pictures: 2 bedrooms, a small kitchen (but certainly has what you need to prepare meals / tea/ coffee), and no real sitting space / living room - but not an issue, assuming you are there to get out and explore the city. And for that, it is a really good location: a few minutes' walk to the Forum / Colosseum, several grocery options, and a number of affordable restaurant options all within a couple of blocks.
A few minutes' walk to metro stations but we didn't even need them since the core of Rome with all the attractions is actually small enough to manage easily on foot if you're not super-rushed.
Add to that a good price for 2 bedrooms, in a quiet building, and this is overall a great bargain for a solid base in Rome.
The appartment corresponds to the pictures : well located (10 min walk from the Colisee), nicely decorated, with all the necessary equipment.
We had a great time in Rome thanks to Mariangela, who is nice and available.
For example, she immediatly came when we had a problem with the gas and warm water. This was solved in a few minutes.
A nice address to recommand!

The apartment is located in Via di San Giovanni in Lateran, known as "the Avenue" because it connects the Colosseum to Basilica of St. John Lateran. When you leave home, especially at sunset, you can enjoy the beautiful sight of the Coliseum, surrounded by a warm light pink. We are in the district Celio, one of the seven hills of ancient Rome. Here there are the Basilica of St. Clement (Mitreo) and de 'Four Crowned Saints (Presidio Scipioni), S. Stefano Rotondo (Macellum), the Villa Celimontana, the Nymphaeum of Nero, the Claudian aqueduct and other various Roman ruins and medieval. On the top of the hill there is the Military Hospital, built between 1885 and 1891, at the center of a vast area that was (and still is) reserved for military property, close to the St. Stephen's medieval site in Formis, he had also an annex to the monastery hospital. Overlooking the Military Hospital "Celio" it was made in 2003 by the City of Rome a public park called "Peace Park" of the district Celio. And a little further on you will find the beautiful Villa Celimontana, currently Geographical Institute, surrounded by a beautiful park with picnic areas, playground and useful for outdoor sporting activities. The neighborhood is close to everything and full of win, bars, restaurants, markets, supermarkets, stalls of fruit, vegetables and fresh fish (on Via dei Santi Quattro), pizzerias, clubs, gyms, theaters, etc ... It 'easy to reach everything on foot or by public transport, which stops a few steps from home, in Via Labicana you will find buses and trams that lead to the Campo dei Fiori, Piazza Navona, Castel Sant'Angelo, St. Peter's, the Via Corso, Trevi Fountain etc .... Or to make before you can walk in 5 minutes, the Metro B Blue, Colosseo stop, or always in 5 minutes you can reach the stop of the A, red metro stop San Giovanni, or the subway stop Manzoni in 7 minutes. Line A will take you to the main tourist sites, the B in the peripheral areas. However in the neighborhood you can experience a relaxing holiday enjoying the real atmosphere of Rome. Advice to rent a bicycle in the neighborhood there are several shops that rent bikes, because it really is all easy to reach and enjoy the beautiful walk in the archaeological area of Via dei Fori Imperiali closed to traffic.
