Sea Horse Acres is the perfect beachfront get-a-way. Unfortunately our ocean view has been spoiled by the trees growing on the dunes behind our house but we are minutes walk from the beach. Sitting on the edge of the dunes surrounded by the pine trees, it is a fun filled yet, peaceful vacation retreat. Located on the beautiful Long Beach Peninsula, Oceanfront, Sea Horse really has it all! The spacious home offers comfortable accommodations for up to 10 guests, with all the amenities you expect. You can enjoy the sunshine on the large and inviting deck where you are just minutes from the sand and waves. Enjoy a barbeque or roast hot dogs and marshmallows over the outdoor fire pit or storm watch on a winter night next to the warm, cozy fire. At Sea Horse Acres you have fun at your fingertips. Ride in the waves, play in the sand, catch the sunset, shop for antiques or stop for a bite at one of the locally owned cafes', restaurants and specialty shops in Long Beach. Visit the Port at nearby Ilwaco where you can watch the fishing boats and crabbing fleets come and go. Or you could take a short drive to historic Oysterville, famous for its bountiful oyster beds and fresh seafood market! If by chance you have horses, this is the perfect location as we have a barn with shelter for 9 horses, a secure tack room, turnouts and an oval pen, plus miles of pristine sandy beach, perfect for riding!

Additional guest fee explanation.

The base Rate covers the first two people and two horses. Like many hosts we charge an additional guest fee of $20 per person/per horse after the first two guests per night. This fee shows up as additional guest fee under the host fees.

Pet fee explanation-

Up to 2 Dogs allowed with paid fee, NO OTHER HOUSE PETS ALLOWED. Horses extra with a $20 per horse per day fee speak with Sea Horse Acres Contact PRIOR to booking.

Nice Property with lots of space

The house was clean and well stocked and had plenty of space for our family gathering. Lots of good kitchen cooking items, puzzles, and games. There isn't a good view of the beach/water from the house, but you can access it easily for those without mobility challenges (you do need to walk on a sandy path with some elevation changes). It worked well for us!

Close to the beach and comfy

Although the property is not on the beach and doesn’t really have a view, it is a super short walk through the dunes to the beautiful beach. The house is well appointed and has enough rooms on all of the floors to allow a group of guest to spread out and have some space. the beds were comfortable and the kitchen was well appointed. The living area had lots of seating to allow all of us to hang out and watch movies. it’s close to Long Beach so we were able to pop into town to stroll around and get something to eat. It’s also super close to Astoria and other beautiful beach areas for day trips.

Kandi is an excellent person to do business with. Honest and on the ball. Nice large house in a secluded location with a beautiful view! Well kept home with plenty of room inside and out, with a large fire pit. All appliances worked perfectly. We wish we could have stayed longer and will do so on our next stay! Charming home with scenic views

The stay was pretty good besides The power being out the whole first night due to a huge storm. There weren't any directions on what to do in that case, so we just found a bunch of candles and had luckily brought some lanterns with us. The phone didn't work and the cell reception wasn't good enough to contact anyone. It got a little cold that night, but not too cold. The House is very well insulated and Homey. There was plenty of room for everyone and it was an easy and beautiful path to the beach. The kitchen is well stocked with cookware, dishes and appliances. It was nice, but I'm not sure the cost was worth it in the winter, since you are limited in what you can do on the property if you don't have horses and the weather is stormy.

Great house for family gathering

Great house for large family gathering. I highly recommend this home to horse owners who want a getaway on the beach and large families who don’t mind a walk through a wooded area to the beach. The beach is well worth the walk!! When you stay look at their photo album, it starts when they first purchased the property and the improvements made throughout the years. Home is dog friendly, and has a well-stocked kitchen, plenty of linens. Thank you for sharing your home with us.

Birthday getaway

Was a perfect location tons of privacy lots of room in the house, we made numerous trips to the beach on the private walking trail which is about 800 steps to the cute bench that sits atop the dune right before the beach. Most walks we only saw a person or two till clamming day then lots of clammers. The days were spent exploring the long beach peninsula which we have never been to, cape Disappointment was gorgeous and it was a beautiful sunny day. If you have horses this would be a real treat with the available stalls and area for the horses and trail to the beach. There are lots of stairs in the house so be prepared, surrounding gems of restaurants are plentiful. our host was very easily accessible and prompt with any responses.. Thank you for the peace and quiet.
