Ees Wyke Studio is a cosy, semi-detached studio cottage in the village of Near Sawrey, close to Sawrey itself in Cumbria. The cottage can sleep two people in open plan studio accommodation with one double bed, a kitchenette, dining area and sitting area.The cottage also contains a shower room. To the outside of the cottage is off road parking for one car and a from gravelled sitting area with furniture. Located in beautiful countryside, Ees Wyke Studio is a lovely cottage suitable for a great holiday at any time of the year. EV charger, extra charges apply. Note: One well-behaved dog welcome. Note: This property has a check in day of Friday

Region: Impressive mountains, open fells and clear-water lakes, the Lake District has it all. From walking in the mountains to exhilarating watersports or just a gentle cruise on a steam-powered yacht, Cumbria is the perfect holiday destination.

Town: The village of Sawrey is situated two miles from Hawkshead, overlooked by the woods and tarns of Claife Heights. Sawrey consists of two separate hamlets - Near Sawrey and Far Sawrey. Near Sawrey is famous for Hill Top,where Beatrix Potter wrote her acclaimed children's stories. and is now a museum, owned and run by the National Trust. Far Sawrey is the hamlet furthest away from Hawkshead and the nearest to the ferry point on Windermere. There are good walks in the area, including those to Claife Heights and in Grizedale Forest.

October break

We loved Ees Wyke Studio. The location is absolutely stunning, and there is a welcoming, cozy pub 5 mins up the road (although we learnt the hard way you need to book early if you want an evening meal because it small and popular)! The studio was spotless, with all the essentials, peaceful and stylishly decorated. There was even a doggy welcome box and a bottle of wine for us!
