Beautiful, fully furnished large Studio within walking distance to Downtown Troy, RPI and Sage.
The Studio has a Living area that includes an office area with desk and wireless printer. The kitchen has a gas cooktop, Breville oven, microwave, coffee maker, toaster, a small refrigerator with freezer, and all utensils and dishes. The spacious, private quarters are nicely furnished with a comfortable queen size bed, dresser, and nightstands. The spacious private bathroom has a full shower, vanity, and toilet. There is also a separate laundry room. Everything is included for your comfort.
Downtown Troy location. Walking distance to RPI and Sage Colleges and Downtown. The RPI shuttle and bus lines are one block away.
Accommodates two people maximum regardless of age. One person must be minimum age of 21. Infants are allowed in a self-provided crib.

I renovated the entire building. Everything is new inside but kept the original 1890's exterior character of the building in tact.

Apartment is in a great location to RPI and downtown Troy.
The apartment is very neat and clean, extremely comfortable and quiet. There is access to a laundry room, a bonus. Off the street parking in a private lot is available in back of the building. There is an excellent variety of restaurants within walking distance. The owner and the property manager are available and prompt to respond. Would most definitely stay again!
Comfortable, clean and attractive
Good location to downtown. Within walking distance to restaurants, shops and Saturday farmers market.
A very clean attractively decorated appartment with everything one would need, except for a hair dryer, had to buy one.
Heating in this basement apartment is controlled by appartment upstairs so comfortable temperature is maintained by portable heaters. Not sure if they would be sufficient in the dead of winter though!
We will hopefully stay here again when visiting family.
The apartment is my own place that I stay several times a year and in all seasons. I can assure you that it stays very warm and cozy during the winter and nice and cool in the summer. Most guests that have stayed in the past, have not required additional heating or cooling sources but they are avaialble for those that are more sensitive to temperatures below 68 degrees or above 75 degrees.
We spent 8 days here in late October.
It was very comfortable and meticulously decorated. It was perfect for our purposes.
If you're looking for a place nearby the heart of Troy, this is it. It's a short walk to old downtown Troy, which appears to be experiencing a renaissance of sorts.
Would have rated it 5 stars, but the one negative was humidity in the apartment. The owner is aware of the problem and is working to remedy it.

I'm sorry that the humidity was an issue. Unfortunately, the prior guest had turned off the dehumidifier for a long period of time. An automated air circulation fan has now been installed and remedied the situation.
I hope that you will consider my Studio on your next trip to Troy.

Additional information about rental rates
Maximum occupancy is two people regardless of age. One person must be 21 min. age. Infants are allowed with one self-provided crib. Rates are subject to change until reservation is confirmed. Studio Rules and Guidelines: 1. One parking spot is available in rear parking lot behind apartment, adjacent to our building. Please provide your car’s make, model, and license plate information to the Host. Your guests must park on the street only. 2. There is a Security alarm inside the entry by the front door. Please note that it is connected to apartment upstairs and generally not used. If you are going to use the system, please notify Host on instructions. 3. Kitchen: a. There is a two-burner gas stove, counter-top oven, and a microwave for cooking. All pots and pans are in the corner cabinet. Please use only microwavable containers in the microwave. b. You may use any of the condiments or items in the cabinet below the cook-top. c. The refrigerator and freezer will need to be cleaned out prior to departure. d. There is dish soap and a dish rack under the sink. e. There is no sink garbage disposal. Please scrape all food into a plastic bag in the small metal trash can. Please replace trash can liners with plastic bags provided under sink. 4. Cleaning: a. Place recyclable paper, cardboard, and glass products in a brown paper bag (i.e. Trader Joes). Please replace trash bags when full. Trash bags are found under the sink. b. Please take out trash and recycle (blue boxes) to bins located in the backyard under stair. c. Trash day is Tuesday morning. Please help out by taking a trashcan and/or a recycle box to the front curb on Ferry Street prior to 6:30 am on Tuesdays or return the empty cans/boxes under the stairs when emptied. d. The Laundry room hours are 9:00 am to 10:00 pm and is in the hallway adjacent to the Studio. It is shared with the tenants in the apartment above. There is high-efficiency detergent to use or you can provide your own high efficiency.
