The newly developed lakeside patio and walkway on a gentle slope make enjoying water activities a snap. The outdoor shower at the lakeside patio has hot and cold water for rinsing off. There is a sandy beach next to the dock and a private boat ramp for those bringing their own boat.
Our house sits in a quiet cove. It's a great place to use the canoe or kayaks. High Falls County Park sits across the bay.
The open kitchen/dining/living area faces the lake with great views and the adjacent screened in deck has additional dining space. There's an open grilling deck off the master bedroom next to the screened deck on the main floor.
Our home sits on 1.8 acres with spacious level or gentle sloping yard areas for the furnished outdoor games of volleyball/ badminton, horseshoes, ladder ball, corn hole toss, and ping pong.
Unfortunately our property is not available for weddings because we are on a septic system which could not handle the large groups associated with weddings and we do not have adequate parking space for a wedding.
There is a cleaning fee and there are 10% taxes in addition to the rental fee.

We had a wonderful stay at this beautiful home. We stayed here for 5 nights to attend a George Strait concert at Clemson University over the weekend. Landscaping was so pretty. Lots of sitting and eating areas. Plenty of things to do, rain or shine. We had a group of 10, two families (all adults). It's about a 30 minute drive to Clemson University. The kitchen is very well stocked. The evenings were a bit chilly so we had a fire in the fire pit by the water several evening. Very relaxing and quite. Lake views were gorgeous.
We stayed two weeks and had a great time. The beach area is great. It has a nice sandy beach with a gentle slope so it was perfect for our younger grandchildren. There’s also a nice large dock with an open area to sit and watch the children swim. The house is older but the layout is very nice with a screened patio to enjoy eating and viewing the lake.
This home was perfect for our family get-together. The hosts have provided everything except the food. We rented a boat from the marina down the road and enjoyed the lake. Lovely place.
We had the best time at this home. We will definitely come back! The homeowners were very easy to communicate with. We have stayed at several homes on Keowee and this one is one we plan to continue to use!
Our second stay. This is an outstanding property. Excellent location and spacious interior, lots of useful space around the home. We had another delightful stay.
The owners, Larry and Sharon Brunzlick and their daughter Cadence welcome you to Lake Keowee. They live in Northern Wisconsin and met while participating in sled dog races in Northern Michigan. Sharon is a Veterinarian and recently opened her own practice. Larry is an emergency room physician. Cadence is in Optometry school in Memphis and is an avid figure skater.
Why they chose this property
Sharon is from Knoxville Tn and loves to revisit the the south. We stayed at a VRBO property on Lake Keowee in early 2014 and found this property to be what we were looking for. We love the lake and the location. We are both pilots and make good use of our Piper Cherokee Six flying to our new vacation get away. Sharon loves to fish and has been catching bass and catfish off the dock.
What makes this property unique
We wanted a place with gentle slope and easy access to the water, protected from the wind, and a beach that kids can play on. This place has all off that and a huge yard and great views. Developing the lakeside patio has been a priority and it doesn't get much better than an evening around the fire with family and friends.
