Best family vacation yet!

  • 5 of 5

We absolutely loved our week in this home. The views were fantastic and each room faces the lake. Everything we needed was a short drive away, yet it felt nice and secluded.

Great Lake House Vacation

  • 5 of 5

This is our second summer in a row renting this lake house. We love Lake Keowee and this house is in a great location because it's close to stores and the marina. The cove that it's on is quiet and pretty. The house is the perfect set up for a big group. Parents can stay in one of two master bedrooms on the main floor, while all the kids can stay downstairs. The house is clean and updated and the view of the lake is amazing.

Perfect multi family home on a beautiful setting!

  • 4 of 5

There's no arguing this is a beautiful location and the property is perfect for multi family stays. We were a family of grandma-grandpa; son-wife & daughter; daughter-husband and 3 daughters. The upper level of this home has 2 bedrooms on opposite sides of the community living room and kitchen and each has a bathroom. The one bathroom is also accessible without going through the bedroom. The basement has a lot of sleeping space and a very nice living room, however only one bathroom, but this worked fine for us. All bedrooms and living rooms are facing the lake and have great views. The deck is awesome and accomodates a large group. We also did a sit down dinner with 10 of us which the dining table accommodated great, and the grill was awesome to have too. The kitchen was well stocked; not the best organization as we had to do a lot of searching but we found what we needed. We had one issue of lower level beds (2) not being made, and visibly slept in. There were clean sheets to replace. I mention this as this is on the folks that are responsible for cleaning. Also noted that under beds hadn't been cleaned, very dusty. (I always have to do the final search of things left behind). Overall a very pleasant stay and beautiful place. Very fun looking at ll of the before and after pics too! Would definitely stay again

We were completely satisfied with every aspect of our stay! From the beautiful lake view to the convenient location to get groceries! The home had beautiful updates and very comfortable beds!! The kids had more than enough room down stairs while the adults enjoyed the main level. I highly recommend this property!!

Paradise Found on Lake Keowee!

  • 5 of 5

Our family is so fortunate to live within five minutes of the beach on the Carolina Coast where I am often asked “you live in paradise, so where do you vacation?” We found our paradise this week on Lake Keowee while staying at this wonderful home. Location, location, location is everything and this home has it all! Located on a high point, at the tip of a peninsula above Lake Keowee, we found the view amazing from both lake front decks, the dock was awesome with built in bumpers for our boat, and the interior a true delight after recent extensive renovations! Immediately when entering the home, the lake front views command your attention, but the moment we turned away, the details of the recent renovations were pleasantly apparent. Granite counter tops in the well laid out kitchen beautifully blended with comfortable furnishings in the living area. Stainless steel appliances, a Keurig Coffee maker, and a toaster that toasted a perfect bagel were just some of the highlights of well equipped kitchen. Each bedroom featured well-chosen bed linen with complimentary furnishings. The renovated bathrooms were clean and delightful with handsome tile work. The lower level den was a bonus for the kids where a flat screen television and X-box were welcomed during an afternoon rain shower. After the dock where we paddle boarded, kayaked (several small kayaks were offered as amenities), and just floated in a peaceful setting, our family spent most of our time eating and playing games on the upper level deck. The view is amazing and truly captured what we felt was a piece of heaven. Boat launching was easy at the county park less than two miles away and a full service marina is only a five minute boat ride from the house. We cannot wait to return to Lake Keowee and the paradise we found there at this wonderful home.

Our home is located in the foothill hills of the Blue Ridge Mountains in the upstate of South Carolina and is 11 miles from Clemson University, one mile from South Cove park and boat landing and 20 minutes from interstate 85. We are a short drive to Cashiers and Highland North Carolina and Sapphire Valley Ski Resort.

Lake Keowee has over 300 miles of shoreline with views of the Blue Ridge Mountains. Lake Keowee and the surrounding areas offer year round activities for all ages. Water recreation activities include boating, fishing, water sports, rafting and sailing. This area is an ideal for Clemson football weekends, hiking, snow skiing and year round golf. This is why Lake Keowee is the place to visit anytime throughout the year.
