Great location

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was very satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Calypso is a beautiful resort. We have stayed here many times. We love the close proximity to Pier Park which is a very short walk. The condo itself was nice and very clean. I could even smell bleach where they had wiped everything down.

Nice place, but the resort was crowded. It was hard to catch an elevator. Hard to find a chair by the pool. Had to buy trash bags, dish soap, toilet paper, etc. Dishes were not cleaned well, because the dishwasher does not work well. Had to hand wash everything, but there was no sink stopper, in the kitchen or the bathroom. Beds weren’t comfy. I liked how the tvs had streaming services. The fridge is big, fit a lot of food. Plenty of dishes! Shower pressure was good. Washer worked good, but the dryer takes a LONG time to dry. Oven works very well. The bar with an extra sink in the kitchen was nice. Pull out sofa in living room couch. No Hot tub on site.

This was my granddaughter’s senior spring break and we loved the condo. Great location, had everything we needed. Beautiful sunset views from the deck. Nice heated poo… loved having the two free lounge chairs at the beach with the umbrella. Had a fabulous time. Would definitely stay there again!

Disappointing Stay — Only Good for a Place to SleepUnfortunately, this condo was a major disappointment. While the location was nice, the cleanliness and overall condition of the unit left a lot to be desired. There was dust throughout the condo, the floors were dirty, and several pieces of furniture had noticeable stains. Even the dishes were not properly clean when we arrived.The unit also needs significant maintenance. Trim was coming off in places, the balcony was dirty, and the toilet was not properly secured to the floor. There was also visible mold on the bathroom ceiling, which was particularly concerning.Overall, the condo felt poorly maintained and not thoroughly cleaned before our arrival. The location was the main positive, but beyond having a place to sleep, there wasn’t much about the unit that made the stay enjoyable. For the price, we expected a much cleaner, better-maintained property. I would not stay here again unless the unit receives a significant cleaning and maintenance overhaul.

I hate to even leave a review but this place was out of the 80's in furnishings. Wouldn't be bad if they werent broke down and way past due for upgrading. Cleaning service needs to be fired and a better one hired. We had to rewash dishes and almost fell off the toilet because it wasnt secured properly in the master bath. Only good thing to me was the view and proximity to pier park. If updated and cleaned properly it would be 5 stars.

We love Panama City Beach and we stay at the Calypso several times per year. We love the ocean views and that it’s so close to Pier Park.

Wonderful place

Great for family Vacation! Perfect location, can walk to pier park. Condo was a little dusty but overall would rent again. Family enjoyed their stay.

Place was clean, spacious and exactly what was shown in the pictures

My friends and I had a blast and we already plan to stay at the same place that's how good it was. And it was walking distance from the shopping center and a few minutes from night club we like to go during our stay.
