Interaction with Guests:
We provide a very comprehensive Welcome Letter and an electronic code for the front door. Late check in is fine. We are available reasonably to answer questions about property and neighborhood.
Highly sought after charming neighborhood with a lot of history and character. Very laid-back. Perfect location adjacent to downtown, Town Lake, hike and bike trails, etc.
Bus stop one block away. Direct bus route to UT is one block away. Uber and Lyft are very easy to get.
Very close to UT, downtown, etc. Five minutes by car. Downtown is ten to fifteen minute walk through beautiful neighborhood. UT is fifteen to twenty minute walk.
There is also great bike (and kayak and other stuff) rental app in the area. Details in Welcome Letter.
Other Things to Note:
We have an electronic lock system so guests can easily show themselves in. We can accommodate late checkouts sometimes IF we are told in advance.
We provide about 10 KCup coffee pods for guest use. We also provide hotel-style nice fancy-pants soap, shampoo, some toothpaste and mouthwash, shaving cream, toilet paper, paper towels, etc.
We also use a security camera on the outside of the property, for additional security.
• Check-in time is 2 pm. Check-Out time is 10 am.
Absolutely no smoking. This is a residential neighborhood and we respect our neighbors. This means no loud parties, etc. It is very laid-back, with a lot of musicians and artists in the neighborhood, but we respect the need to maintain a reasonably quiet neighborhood. We may require applicants to submit a copy of their drivers license before being considered eligible for this property. The credit card number used must match the name of the person staying.
