Awesome

  • 5 of 5

The property was exactly as advertised. We were there for a small, relaxing family reunion. We loved the fishing, caught some crabs and used the kayaks constantly. Appreciated it's proximity to Annapolis, where we spent two days. Each of the three decks were extensively used and the hot tub was a big hit. The kitchen had all we could ask for. I liked that the dining room was open to the kitchen so that at meal times those eating in the kitchen did not feel that far from the dining room. LOTS of space and felt very cozy. Enough little nooks to hide in when the family became "too" close. Communication was great, Theresa met us our first day which was very helpful. Would not hesitate to stay there again or recommend to others.

4 night stay in August at Driftwood Lodge

  • 5 of 5

This property is as lovely as it looks in the photos. The surrounding gardens are beautiful. The property was perfect for our extended family gathering of 12 people, ages 17 through 86. The view of the Chesapeake Bay is gorgeous. Despite the August heat, shaded areas of the property were comfortable with breezes from the Bay. The house air conditioning system functioned well. The kitchen had all we needed. It is important to note that swimming in the Chesapeake is not a great idea in August due to jellyfish ("sea nettles"). The immediate neighborhood is residential and quiet, with scenic areas for jogging and walking. There is plenty of parking.

This house had everything to make our stay comfortable. Location was perfect!

  • 5 of 5

The kitchen was well equipped. The beds were comfortable. The scenery was breathtaking. We did not have to leave the property. The fire pit and hot tub made the evenings enjoyable. It was only 15 minutes to store and church. The owner and realtor were only a phone call away. The neighborhood was an enjoyable place to take a walk. The local beaches were great places to find seaglass and driftwood. Looking forward to another stay in this great house.

A beautiful place to stay, inside and out!

  • 5 of 5

The Driftwood Lodge was a perfect setting for our large family to stay. Although we visited the lodge 1 year prior, the website perfectly describes the place, so have no fear booking site unseen. There is so much room and the place is kept meticulous! Outside, we had access to kayaks, a hot tub, a grill, and good amount of seating. Also, there is PLENTY of parking.

Our daughter's wedding was held at the Herrington Harbour (less than 2 miles away). It was a special event in our lives and the Driftwood Lodge was so accommodating to our family. It gave us the much needed room, amenities, and the perfect place to relax and soak up the amazing scenic views of the Chesapeake Bay. The Property manager, Theresa, was simply the best. She ensured our stay was top notch, and was quick to answer questions or resolve any minor issues over our stay.

We would highly recommend this place and we look forward to a return visit!

Home, view, and location truly spectacular.

  • 5 of 5

We just completed our 2nd family reunion at Driftwood Lodge and remain grateful that this quality of property is available to rent. The furnishings, location, and viewing opportunities are just wonderful. We found everything in the immaculate condition it was in last year, which speaks highly of the owner, Jonathan, and the manager, Theresa. My husband and I are parents of 3 sons and grandparents of children ranging from 24 to 7; with a hot tub, kayaks, a small beach in close proximity, all found Driftwood Lodge enjoyable. But everyone agrees the best feature is the house itself; it's open design and pleasing architectural spaces so beautifully furnished makes it an extraordinary site for happy times and lasting memories.
