Located halfway between Cabo san Lucas and San Jose del Cabo, this beautiful home provides the perfect base for exploring the area. Condo is located across from the Hilton Hotel and up the hill along the golf course.

This was our second stay with J - this place is what dreams are made of. The condo is as described in the listing, the property is way better than as described. The property is very well cared for, quiet, beautiful and fantastic.

The views were phenomenal very peaceful and private.! If you love golf it back on to the golf course right behind the pool.! The pool was excellent and nice dinning area with large BBQ right beside itEasy to go get groceries close by. Over all very happy with out experience. Owner was also very timely with response.

Fantastic Spot for the young family

J's place in Cabo is great, stayed for a short week over New Years with my young family. Patio extends to common green space and then the pool, with the pool just far enough away to consider it 'safe' for young non-swimmers. Home was big enough and clean enough for our stay. Plan a rental car, or I suppose taxi's would work fine for a few excursions. Many fantastic beaches a short 10-20 minute drive away.

Josh was very attentive and thorough in answering our questions and timely! The grounds were beautiful and we were impressed by the crews keeping the pool and gardens and lawns clean and groomed. We felt secure with the entry gate and the people working there. We enjoyed the hike behind the property and the view! Thank you for the entire experience!

Outstanding experience with Owner and Complex

This was my first time in San Jose Del Cabo and from the first time I inquired about the property on VRBO, the owner Josh was truly exceptional in his responsiveness and willingness to address any questions and to help. The complex itself was quite lovely, quiet and had great neighbors and a lovely pool. You need a car to get to a beach but the property is situated in a golf course community. I plan to book again. Due to the fact this condo was already rented, I had to extend my stay a week and I had to move elsewhere; otherwise I would have stayed on. Paula J.

Beautiful pool and view

We enjoyed our stay so much. It was quiet with just the right amount of conversation with other condo owners around the pool. This isn’t the place to bring noisy kids (ours are quiet pre teens so it worked just fine). I enjoyed working on my laptop and sipping coffee under shaded patio in the Mornings. The cross breeze through apartment was lovely, we used room air conditioner at night. Close to both Cabo san Lucas and San Jose . We enjoyed the tennis courts and hike behind the condo. Landscaping was pretty. We felt very safe. We popped up to clubhouse for lunch and they were really friendly there. We rented a car to explore and there was a beach umbrella and chairs to take to the beach. Lots of condiments in kitchen for our use. We will definitely stay again. I felt very relaxed. The owner was easily accessible for any questions we had.

Quiet and safe location

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay here. The unit was equipped with everything we needed for an enjoyable stay. The grounds and pool area were immaculate and the staff was friendly and helpful. We hiked every morning on a great trail behind the property. My son used the gym facility and was very satisfied. The pool area was very quiet and clean. We were close to the beach and there was umbrellas and chairs available for use in the unit... we will definitely be back.

Second time at this condo

Las Gardenias is a beautiful property. It was our second time staying here. It is peaceful and quiet, exactly what we wanted. The condo is a perfect size for the two of us. All the staff are friendly and helpful. the bbq works wonderfully! You do need a car to stay here, as it is a distance from San Jose.

Perfect location for a relaxing holiday

This condo comes with everything needed to make your stay comfortable. The kitchen is well equipped and has decent appliances. The beds are comfortable and there are adequate linens for the beds, bath, and the pool. The living and dining furniture are in great shape and comfortable. The condominium property is well looked after, with a secure gate and a guard that is patient and doesn’t mind that you use very poor Spanish ! The pool is warm enough for a comfortable swim. The views are fabulous....and we frequently saw whales breaching and spouting. We thought that the best thing about it is the location. It is far removed from the busy town of Cabo, but only a 15 minute drive away and only a 10 minute drive back into San José. There are adequate amenities- groceries and gas only a 5 minute drive away. Nice beaches are nearby, too. We wouldn’t hesitate to return to this exact location for an easy relaxing holiday.

Well equipped apartment with spectacular view

We enjoyed our stay very much. The apartment has all what you need and the beds were comfy. Nothing beats the view during breakfast or dinner which is one of the best you could think of. Shower is excellent. Kitchen fully equipped. Summary: recommended! Hint for all people enjoying the beach: Hilton just south of the premises features an almost not visible access to the beach, to the right of the main building. We spotted swarms of stingrays there. Only down of this access is that there is no car park close to the tiny door Hilton uses to make this acccess unattractive. Anyway: the beach El Chileno is only a few minutes by car to the west and is also recommended. Renting a car is almost unavoidable unless you just come to play golf at Cabo Real.

Top Quality

Condo was clean, functional kitchen, everything you need to live there. Everything works well. Hiking the hill is popular for all ages. Sneak a walk on the golf course after the players are done for the day but watch out for snakes in the bushes. We enjoyed the seldom used tennis court also. 12 km to San Jose del Cabo so a car is required for frequent visits but if you are not doing much travelling the bus system will get you around. The pool and hot tub are both warm and kept in excellent condition. The large gas BBQ works well and is a good place to meet other chefs. Great place with a friendly owner.

My wife and I got married in Cabo and decided to buy a place to share with friends and family. Our two children love the pool. I am a college professor and my wife works as a marketing director for a food company. She is half mexican and this is our wonderful escape home.

Why they chose this property

It is next door to a Condo that my in-laws own so we know the complex well. It is safe, quiet, friendly, and in the middle of San Jose del Cabo and Cabo San Lucas. We have been visiting this area for over 15 years. It is not part of the tourist trap downtown. It is simple, easy and uncrowded. Local beaches are within a short drive, and plenty of amenities nearby too.

What makes this property unique

Quiet. Relaxing. Comfortable. A home away from home. Amazing views. Great place as a jumping off point to go to downtown Cabo San Lucas or San Jose del Cabo. If you like golf, it is excellent. We have a kitchen full of all the pots, pans and items you'd expect at home (including Coffee Maker, Toaster, Microwave). Plenty of towels, Big Screen TV. An acoustic guitar. A great mountain hike just steps from the condo in one direction, and the pool is a few steps away in the other direction.
