Unit 1059 is on the 10th floor and has one of the most spectacular views anywhere in Kaanapali. This total remodeled and professionally decorated 10th floor suite is one of the nicest one bedroom units at the Whaler.
Unit 1059 (totally remodeled in Sept. 2015) sleeps up to 6 adults and has 4 beds (master= Cal King, sofa sleeper= Queen, Murphy bed twin XL, and loveseat sleeper= twin size). All bedding is of the highest quality including the finest quality linens and pillows that are fresh and clean.

Unit 1059 is VERY competitively priced from $228 per night ($228 rate is for last minute bookings less than 30 days out with a minimum stay of 10 nights - see rate schedule below).
All linens are provided fresh and clean. Mid-visit cleaning is provided to guests who stay 10 nights or longer upon request. There is a washer/ dryer located in the unit along with complementary so. Month long stays will receive a weekly clean Upon request. Additional housekeeping services are available upon request for an additional charge. There is a $165 check out cleaning fee for up to 2 guests, $195 for 3-4 guests and $225 for 5-6 guests). $195 flat cleaning fee for "book it now" bookings.
The Whaler Resort is one of the premier condominium resorts in Maui. It is located in the most ideal location of Kaanapali Beach (between the Sheridan and Westin Hotels and next to Black Rock and Whalers Village Shops). Everything totally convenient and is in walking distance. Whalers Village has over 100 shops and restaurants for eating or just to browse through, so you and the family never have to jump in the car to go eat or shop....or drive home after dinner. Great location, nice amenities, would recommend.
Overall a great stay. Great location and nice staff. Room was nice and well stocked. Half bath isn’t really a half bath, it’s just a sink in the laundry room. There’s a fair amount of noise from the restaurants and beach until about 9pm. Also there’s construction noise from Leilani’s. Overall we had a pleasant stay. Would recommend.

High end condo with fantastic views
Jim's condo was exceptional, undoubtedly 5 stars. It has been recently remodeled with modern finishings in the kitchen and bathroom, lots of counter space in both. The bathroom and kitchen lights had dimmers which was a really nice touch.
The bed was very comfortable, and I really appreciated the quality of the pillows as I often have a hard time finding good ones. Clothes hangers...lots of them, and plenty of storage in the nightstands and dresser. There were a lot of extra towels and a washer and dryer if needed.
The kitchen had high quality appliances and cookware as well as other helpful things like a blender, measuring cups, lots of cooking utensils and extras like ziplock bags, Tupperware, foil, plastic wrap and so forth.
The view was great! From the kitchen and living room you could see the reflection of the ocean in a mirror that spanned the whole wall. You could also see from the main room and bedroom as you got closer to the patio doors. You can access the balcony from the bedroom and living room. Once outside you have an expansive view of the ocean including the island of Lanai. The patio table is bar height so you are able to see over the patio railing. There are a couple lounge chairs out there too. You'll find 4 very comfortable folding beach chairs, boogie boards, and more to take with you to the beach. The beach itself is right out the front door.
As for Jim the owner, he was consistently quick to respond to my emails and very helpful when I inquired about renting the condo and when I had follow up questions about amenities etc. The cost of this condo is a great deal for all that you get, and we would definitely stay here again when returning to Maui.

The condo is beautiful, every need is anticipated by the owner. The location is on the nicest stretch of beach in Ka'anapali, and while I'm leaving today, I cannot wait to return.
The Partridge Family Invasion
It was so nice to stay in this condo for the eleven days we were here. The condo is beautiful and appointed so well. There are seven of us, my husband & I with our five sons ranging in age from 6 to 17. We all felt at home. Our six yr old asked, "Mom, can you bring my teachers here so we can stay here forever?" So this condo not only gets 5 stars from us but from each of the boys as well.
We have stayed at the Whaler 8 or 9 times, in various condos but never have we enjoyed the physical comforts & ambiance as much as we did here. It was so pleasant, with a beautiful view both inside and out. The decorating is superb, it made us feel as though we were home. There's nothing like the sound of the waves & breezes to instantly make one relaxed. It is amazingly spacious despite being a studio. We just can't say enough.
The grounds have been designed & maintained so well. We are an extended family of 32, all staying at the Whaler. Twenty are grandchildren all of whom were fascinated by the Koi Pond (as were the adults.)
The pool is always perfect, and then there's the beach. The Whaler is such a great place to stay! The ocean, the climate, the proximity of restaurants & shopping, not to mention the availability of so many great activities, makes for a wonderful "home."
