This Historical Home was built in the early 1900's. Totally renovated, with all the charm of New Orleans. Our New Orleans Creole shotgun home is very spacious with new furniture and all the making of a comfortable home.
The Historical Bywater neighborhood is an artsy area with easy access to the Quarter, Frenchman St, Crescent Park, cafes, restaurants, grocery, park, and bars all within walking distance.
Welcome, and enjoy our Historic Bywater neighborhood.
We are close enough to the French Quarter to walk (15 -20-minute walk), but still far enough to not have the noise, expensive parking and activity of the French Quarter. If the walk is too much just call UBER FOR AROUND $6-10.00 (taxi), or rent a bike.
The Brennah Rose Place has a Living room with hardwood floors, TV, sofa and 2 chairs. The kitchen is fully furnished, (but who wants to cook when you're in New Orleans and you have all this good food).
Stairway/Bedroom has a daybed with a trundle.
Bedroom #2 has a new queen bed and mattress and hardwood floors.
Master bedroom is upstairs and has a new king size bed with a new mattress, also has a full-size bed with a new mattress and TV.
Bathroom #1 consists of a toilet and combination tub/shower. #2 consist of a toilet and shower. Just about everything NEW.
The Brennah Rose Place has all you need with a driveway and off street parking always close to the house.
Great Location.... New Orleans ranked 2nd best U.S. city by Travel + Leisure in 2015
Travel + Leisure attributes New Orleans' rise in the rankings to a growing number of new hotels, shops and restaurants across the city as well as the thriving Faubourg Marigny and BYWATER neighborhoods.
Uber about $6.00 +/- from my house to the French Quarter

About Tony and Cathy
We own and manage The Brennah Rose Place and three other rentals. We are on the outskirts of New Orleans known as St. Bernard Parish, only minutes away from the Quarters. Our families were fishermen and farmers. We grew up on the bayou where we learned to live off the land. We also had a Seafood Business where we sold and shipped shrimp, crabs, oysters, and fish, mostly to New Orleans and Baltimore. Our families and us all share the love for our beautiful city "New Orleans".
Tony and Cathy purchased this Cottage in 1995

Cathy + Tony were great hosts. Very accommodating with checkin/check out. House was very comfortable and fully stocked. Thanks for an amazing visit!
A 5 Day Stay
Our stay on Bartholomew Street was awesome. The home accommodated 4 guys down for a conference downtown at the Conference Center. The house was set up just fine with a full kitchen, two full baths and a great patio in the rear yard. We walked to local restaurants and relied on Uber to get around town. (Uber is easy if you've never used it). Thy Bywater area is up and coming with lots of exciting changes. Tony and Cathy were great hosts. We would look them up again should we ever return.
Great place; perfect accommodations.
Had a wonderful time. Great location and amenities
Clean and comfortable
Perfect and cost effective!
This house was more than perfect for my family and I! Bywater is a cute little hipster neighborhood with a nearby bakery for morning treats, Bacchanal (local wine spot w/ live music, a MUST), brewery a few blocks away and not far from the French Quarter! Uber/Lyft rides to the FQ varied from $7-11 based off the time of day. Tip: Check uber and lyft when looking for a ride and go with the cheaper option. :) If you don't have Lyft, download it and insert this promo code: DARLA80125 for $20 off your first rides.
The beds in the house were amazingly comfy!! I slept better there than I did at home! Kitchen is fully stocked w/ amenities needed to cook or make morning coffee!
A/C worked wonderful for that NOLA humidity!
Owners: more than accommodating!!! I can't stress how helpful and friendly Cathy was!
We will def be back!!
Clean, well-stocked and nice neighborhood!
We stayed at Cathy and Tony's place for 4 nights with another couple and our two children. Cathy was very attentive and checked in periodically to make sure we had what we needed. We were there during a particularly cold spell and she made sure to let us know about extra blankets and the heater.
The only downside about staying here is that only one of the bedrooms has a door. With two small kids, it was hard to keep the noise to a minimum. However, the beds were comfortable, the place was really clean and well stocked and it felt like home for the few days we were there.
The Bywater neighborhood was charming and gave us more of a local's feel. The French Quarter was a quick drive away but allowed us to be in a quieter space with our family. We loved all the recommendations that were left in the house and tried everywhere that was recommended! Satsuma was our favorite!
Thank you for being great hosts!
We loved having you ang your guest. We would love to have you back again and would highly recommend you to other guest.
If you just don't want to drive, or you don't have a car, the other option would be to call Uber or if you have a smart phone download the UBER app. Short Term Rental License Permit LIC.17STR10612 Bicycles for rent http://www.bicyclemichaels.com Crescent Park http//www.reinventingthecrescent.org
