Isla ron Cabina en el río Santa Fe

El hermoso río Santa Fe y sus numerosos manantiales de aguas cristalinas están a su puerta de este pequeño camarote, bien equipado en el bosque. Relájese en un privado ambiente tranquilo, de baja tecnología, rodeado por la madre naturaleza. La ciudad de High Springs con antigüedades, tiendas de regalos y restaurantes es de 6 millas de distancia; Gainesville (y la UF Gators) es de 30 millas de distancia. Hermosos parques y ríos alimentados por manantiales y senderos senderismo / ciclismo en las cercanías. Buzos y snorkel en renombre mundial Ginnie Springs es 1 millas río arriba. Canoa / kayak / float / nadar / relajarse en el río y resortes 100 pies desde la puerta de la cabina.
La cabina está equipada con aire acondicionado / calefacción, nevera, microondas y placa eléctrica, todos los utensilios y ropa de siempre. El baño tiene inodoro y ducha. Contamos con una cómoda cama de tamaño completo, reproductor de DVD, DVD, juegos y libros. En el exterior hay un porche para observar la vida silvestre y las aves. Tenemos un bar-b-que y un pozo de fuego. Los columpios hamaca entre dos árboles de sombra.
La puerta de la cabina lleva a un pequeño, prístino derecho de primavera en el río Santa Fe.

We truly loved our stay, best place to disconnect & enjoy some peace, location was a short walk to river. Highly recommend checking out, taking some time away from hustle and rush of daily life taking some peaceful time to take a deep breath.

We really loved this vacation home. It wasn't big, but the owners provided everything we needed. MaryAnn were not only welcoming also very patient to helping us use the facilities. The property location was fantastic, and we enjoyed every minute we spent there. I think we'll definitely come back.

This cabin was the perfect getaway for enjoying the beautiful Santa Fe River and nearby springs. The location offers the right mix of nature, peace, and privacy—exactly what I was looking for. The hosts were excellent and incredibly friendly; they even went out of their way to help jump my car when my battery died, which I truly appreciated. If you’re looking for a relaxing, secluded spot surrounded by nature with thoughtful and caring hosts, this is the place.

The Real Florida up close and personal

My wife and I spent 3 nights in early May at Rum Island Cabin. It was as advertised a minimalist retreat into nature. We only scheduled 2 things: a kayak trip to Gilchrist Blue with Get Up and Go and a visit to Michael Singer's nearby Temple of the Universe. Other than that we let time go, slept peacefully until 9, visited the Springs a short walk away, and took the time to be quiet and listen to the birds. The cabin is not spacious, my wife had no place to spread out her multiple array of stuff, the bugs were doing their thing and the air was muggy (living in the Colorado high country we forgot what that was like). But it was what we wanted, nothing but us, minimal distractions and chatting with interesting locals and travelers passing by on the Santa Fe River. It's a memorable place that we will take with us. We only connected with hosts MaryAnn and Dave briefly, enough to know that they are the real deal as is the space they created at Rum Island Cabin.

So Cute!

I really enjoyed this cabin!! It is in such a prime location for paddling/kayaking. Although there is a house on the property it is very secluded and private. Check in process was more hands on than most VRBOs as the owners meet you there to give you the key. I would probably bring more bath towels because I’m a fresh towel after every shower kind of person. Also you are in the Florida outdoors so beware of the bugs. There were also a ton of ticks, I had three crawling on me after sitting outside. So lay on the side of caution if bringing a pet and checking yourself before bed. I would definitely rent this again :)

Secluded get away

Very private and pristine wildlife surrounding the lovely tiny home small but with all the amenities needed for a comfortable stay. We absolutely enjoyed every second of our time there the area is teeming with wildlife and natural beauty as well as friendly locals and community.

Loved it.

We loved our stay here. The whole environment was so peaceful. Just what we needed. The place is very clean and the space heater provided was a welcomed addition, as it fit really cold a couple of the nights. Definitely going to come back again.

Our 3 nite stay at the perfect time of the year in my opinion

The cabin is just what you see on the listing. Small for sure but meets all your needs. Do I wish the bed was bigger, absolutely lol. Environment/ Location just beautiful. I liked it being cooler because we fully enjoyed the fire pit and the gorgeous nite sky with a million visible stars. Our little corgi's enjoyed it just as much as we did. The host were so nice and helpful yet left you to your privacy. I can not say enough about the them. We will definitely be going back.

Beautiful place!

We loved the location—a short walk to the river and springs. The cabin was a little small for two adults and two dogs but it was clean and snug on the unusually cold nights we were there. MaryAnn and Dave were welcoming hosts.
