About Vacasa, OR - Mt Hood / Hood River Office
Thanks for considering a Vacasa home! We provide full-service management for privately owned vacation homes, and like to think that we offer our guests the best of both worlds: the unique experience of staying in a one-of-a-kind vacation home, with the peace of mind that comes from knowing that the home you book for your special vacation is cared for by professional housekeepers and property managers.

Vacasa began in 2009, simply because our founder and CEO Eric wanted to find a better way to share his wife’s family’s summer home in Long Beach, Washington with guests as a vacation rental. Eric and his early team worked to build Vacasa on the premise that local employees can do what they love most (taking care of guests, homeowners, and properties), while the hands-off tasks of vacation rental management—things like marketing, filing taxes, and maintaining a website—could be handled by a specialized central support team.

Our passion is connecting travelers with the unique experience of staying in a vacation home, and we would be honored to be your host. Please contact us with any questions about this home—our team is standing by!

Reminds me of the cabins I stayed at in the 80s. Super cozy and walking distance to the little strip of Government Camp.
There where some good things and bad things about the property.
Good shower. Good tv. Terrible steps to upstairs. Low ceilings. Nice and clean. Entryway needs work. Beds were marginal.
It's really good and lovely，comfortable bed and amazing living room
Can’t beat the location!
The cabin is cute! A path was cut from the driveway to the cabin and from the cabin to the street when we arrived (in deep snow.) The gas fireplace was on and several space heaters going so it was nice and warm when we came in. It has a nice big TV and a nice kitchen and the bathroom had plenty of hot water. Clean linens and we could walk to everything in Govy. I’d rent here again!
Great location, cozy cabin
We really enjoyed our stay, the cabin was cozy with it's fireplace and had all the amenities we needed. It was in a great location, a beautiful neighborhood that provides lovely safe walks around the streets and easy access to the main town of Government Camp. Also great access to Ski Bowl. There was one problem, the shower drain was clogged when we got there, so we were unable to take a shower until the next day when maintenance came to unclog it. The cabin has an odd floor plan / layout, as the only shower is downstairs and the bedrooms are upstairs... but overall, suitable and cozy quality for the amount we paid.
Nice little cabin in a great location!
Nice and clean cabin for a weekend retreat! Location is right off the main drag in Government camp. No complaints!
